I.Analysisoftheteachingmaterial.
Thetopicofthismoduleisaboutgreatwriters,greatworks.Studentshaveacertainknowledgeofthismodule,teachersshouldseizethisopportunitytomaximizethecombinedwiththeknowledgeofstudentstocarryoutteachingactivities,soastohelpstudentsimprovetheirlanguageskillsandculturalquality.
ThefirstunitofthedialoguewasstartedbyBetty,whowantedtotakepartinadiscussionaboutthegreatworks.BettyandMr.Jackson'sdialoguementionedthegreatmanConfuciusandShakespeare,theteachercanusethistopictoguidestudentstodiscuss,butalsoletthestudentssumuptheirreadingoftheclassicsandsharewithyou.Thedialogueisaroundpassivevoice,forexample,WeareinfluencedbyConfuciusideas.Forthiskindofsentence,theteachershouldnotbeeagertosumupthephenomenonofgrammar,butshouldpayattentiontolanguageinput,andguidestudentsintherealenvironmenttofeelthisabstractsyntaxphenomenon.
Thismoduleisaboutlistening,speaking,readingandwritingteachingactivities,bytalkingaboutgreatwriters,thegreatworks,whichinvolvesthreecelebrities-Confucius,ShakespeareandMarkTwainaremorefamiliarwiththestudents.Inordertocarryouttheteaching,theteachercanletthestudentstofindtherelevantinformationinadvance,toknowthenationalityofthefamouspeople,theage,themainideaandthedetailinformationoftherepresentative.
