endedonDecember22,usheringinamomentofreliefforcandidates

aftermonthsofstruggle.

Earlier,theministryofeducationannouncedthat3.41millionstudents

hadenteredtheexaminationthisyear,breakingthethreemillionmark

forthefirsttime.

ThenumberofpeopletakingpartintheNPEEhasbeenontherisein

recentyears.Accordingtothereport,thenumberofpeoplewhotook

partintheNPEEsurgedby520,000lastyearcomparedwiththeyear

before,andthisyearsawanother510,000morethan2018.

However,inthepastfiveyears,thenumberofapplicantsfortheNPEE

hasincreasedmuchfasterthanthenumberofenrollment.

Andthereasonthesepeoplepartakeintheexaminationisalsodifferent.

tofindagoodjobandgainmoreinitiativeinthefuture.Henotedthat

socialcompetitionpressureistoobig,andtheundergraduategraduate

salaryisrisingslowlyrightnow.Also,somepositionsalsohaveexplicit

graduatequalifications.

immediatelyaftergraduationfromhisdegreealone.

Inrecentyears,thepopularityoftheNPEEhasbeenincreasing,witha

varietyoffactorspromptingcandidatestoapplyfortheexam,according

tothe"NationalGraduateEnrollmentSurveyReportfortheYear2020,"

whichwasreleasedonDecember18.

OneofthemainmotivationsforchoosingtotaketheNPEEistoimprove

thecorecompetitivenessofemployment.Anothermainmotivationisto

enhancetheirknowledgestructureandculturallevel,asthereportsaid.

Andthethirdmotivationistotaketheexamtoobtainapostgraduate

degree.
