I have been ready to finish this lesson is 6 parts.Teaching content.The content of this lesson is a car accident between the writer and her friendHannah. The writer feel upset and regret abou
2、t the bad event, which destroys Hannahs model career. However, Hannah and her mother dont blame the writer, instead, they choose to forgive her. Forgiveness is the best gift that the writer have ever received.Analysis of the students.This class is designed for Grade 2 students in Middle High School.
3、 Students can try to describe themselves in English, and they can understand the main idea about the article.Design of Teaching ObjectivesTeaching Important PointsTeaching methods (In this lesson, I will mainly use Task-based teaching method.)Teaching proceduresNow, I will mainly talk about my teach
4、ing procedures. I will followfive steps.Step I “Leadin”, It is important to set up a better English learning situation for students. So I design a activity. I show 3 Pictures and ask students to choose one as their gifts. When students choose their favorite pictures, I will encourage them to tell th
5、e reason. Then J will ask students a question: Most of us have received a gift about playing, studying, food. Have you received a gift of forgiveness? Of course students will give an answer NO”. Next I will say: But a person has received it. Lets find why she gets it and what her feeling is?” (This
6、step is aimed to increase students, interest in learning the article.)Step IL “Fast reading”. I will make a list of 6 elements to help students analyse this article . In this step, I will ask students to find the information with their partner. It aimed to practice students ability of co-operation.S
7、tep III. Careful reading. By answering several questions, students will grasp more details and understand the deep meaning of this article. By comparing two gifts, I aim to let students know what is an indeed gift. The true gift is not the expensive one, however, the most important is that the gift
8、will make you to be a better person.Step IV. Discussion.Not all of us will choose to forgive others fault. By learning thislesson, students begin to learn that forgive is an easy word, but not everyone can do it easily. If we choose to forgive, we will have a better world. So I design a question: If
9、 you were Sharon and Hannah, what would do you do, why?” I think after reading this story, students will have a positive attitude towards their lives.
