1、 8/8大學英語4課程教學大綱 大學英語4課程教學大綱 一、基本信息 課程編號:08A09040 課程名稱:大學英語4 英文名稱:College English IV 課程類型: 通識必修課通識核心課通識選修課學科基礎課 專業(yè)基礎課專業(yè)必修課專業(yè)選修課實踐環(huán)節(jié) 總學時:48 講課學時:48 實驗學時:0 學分:3 適用對象:非英語專業(yè)本科二年級學生 課程負責人:高江梅梁愛民 二、課程的性質(zhì)與作用 大學英語4的教學目的是培養(yǎng)學生具備綜合應用英語的能力,培養(yǎng)學生具有較強的閱讀能力和一定的聽、說、寫、譯能力,使他們能用英語交流信息。大學英語教學應幫助學生打下扎實的語言基礎,掌握良好的語言學習方法,提

2、高文化素養(yǎng),以適應社會發(fā)展和經(jīng)濟建設的需要。 三、教學目標 根據(jù)因材施教、突出個性發(fā)展的教學規(guī)律,并參照教育部委托大學英語研究會與課程指導委員會制定的大學英語課程教學要求(以下簡稱課程要求),我校大學英語課程實行英語教學,使大多數(shù)學生能夠達到基本要求,并使一部分學生能夠達到較高要求和更高要求。 (1)聽力理解能力:能夠基本聽懂來自英語國家人士的談話和講座,能聽懂題材熟悉、 篇幅較長的國內(nèi)英語廣播。能基本聽懂外國專家用英語講授的課程,掌握其中心大意,抓住要點。 (2)口語表達能力:能夠和來自英語國家人士進行比較流利的會話,能基本表達個人意見、情感、觀點等,能基本陳述事實、事件、理由,表達思想清楚

3、。 (3)閱讀理解能力:能基本閱讀英語國家報刊雜志的大眾性、一般性題材的文章,理解其主要意義。能略讀新聞、人物、事件等報道的主要內(nèi)容,抓住其要點,能跳讀有關材料,快速查找所需信息。能借助詞典讀懂與專業(yè)相關的技術性論文,從中查找所需信息。 (4)書面表達能力:能就所讀一般主題的文章寫出其 達到能確切運用。 課程目標與相關畢業(yè)要求指標點的對應關系 四、教學內(nèi)容及要求 Unit One 建議學時:8 教學目的與要求 1. 29、it Six 五、實踐環(huán)節(jié) 本課程為通識必修課,教學以課堂講解為主,無實踐環(huán)節(jié)。目的是是培養(yǎng)學生具備綜合應用英語的能力,培養(yǎng)學生具有較強的閱讀能力和一定的聽、說、寫、譯能力,使他們能用英語交流信息。大學英語教學應幫助學生打下扎實的語言基礎,掌握良好的語言學習方法,提高文化素養(yǎng),以適應社會發(fā)展和經(jīng)濟建設的需要。 六、課外習題及課程討論 為達到本課程的教學基本要求,課外練習題(自測題)總題量不少于10題。每章結束后應布置作業(yè),作業(yè)要求規(guī)范整潔,教師要認真批閱,共性的錯誤下堂課訂正。學生必須按時交作業(yè),作為學生平時成績的依據(jù)之一,三次不交作業(yè)者不允許參加考試。 課程討論穿插在講課之中進行。 七、教學方法與手段 本課程為通識必修課。教學以課堂講解為主要,討論為輔,著重于培養(yǎng)學生具備綜合應用英語的能力,培養(yǎng)學生具有較強的閱讀能力和一定的聽、說、寫
