2、m,whichalsoincludesprinciplesforhandlingcustomersandshareholders.WeBuildOurOrganizationAroundPeopleThestrengthofourcompanyisitspeople,workingtogetherwithacommonpurpose.Althoughmethods,equipment,andproceduresareimportant,andweconstantlystrivetoimprovethem,ourmostvaluableassetsareloyalandcapablepeople
3、.Weseek,throughtheuseofourimpartialemploymentandpromotionpractices,tohaveadiverseworkforce.Ourorganizationisstrengthenedbycapableindividualswithdiversebackgrounds.Weassignresponsibilitiesanddutiestosecurethefullbenefitofanindividualstalentsandabilitiesandtoprovideeachpersonwithanopportunitytodevelop

12、iththatindividualquicklyandfirmly.Forourcompanytobeknownforitsintegrity,eachoneofusmustmeethighstandards.WePromoteFromWithinGenerally,wefillmanagementpositionsfromwithinourorganization.Indoingsowetakecaretoincludeforconsiderationandnotoverlookqualifiedpeoplewhosepresentjobsmaymakethemlessnoticeablet
13、hanotheremployees.Wefillavacancyfromtheoutsidewhenwecannotlocateoneofourownpeoplewhohastheprofessionalortechnicalskillsrequiredforaparticularassignment.Advancementisbasedonindividualmeritandperformance.Allwhoperformtheirtaskscapablyandhavethecapacitytoassumegreaterresponsibilityareeligible.Observing
14、equalopportunityguidelines,weselectthosewhoseembestfittedtotheposition.Allmanagersandsupervisorsareresponsibleforencouraginganddevelopingcapablepeople,notonlyfortheirowngroupsbutalsoforopeningselsewherewithinourorganization.Weactivelysearchforsuchcapablepeopleandgivethemopportunitiestosucceed.WeMain
15、tainaSpiritofTeamworkThroughoutourorganization,wecapitalizeontheadvantagesofworkingtogetherinaninformalmanner.Althoughdefinedresponsibilitiesareassignedtospecificindividualsinourcompany,weactasacooperativeteam.Combinedefforts,whichhelpanypartofourorganization,servetostrengthenourentireorganization.W
16、eCompensateOurPeopleFairlyOurcompensationprogramskeeppacewithtodayschangingbusinessneedsandcomparefavorablywiththoseprogramsinothercompanies.Ouremployeescompensationincludesmorethansalaryalone.Whenconsideringpayrangesandnegotiatingwageagreements,weweighthevalueofthetotalcompensationpackage.Wealsocon

22、chcanhelpthemassumepositionsofgreaterresponsibility.Weexpectthemtotakeadvantageofthetrainingavailabletothemfromthecompanyandfromoutsidesources.Inturn,weprovidepeoplewithassignmentsandopportunitiesthatallowthemtodemonstratetheirskillsanddeveloptheircapabilities.Weseektogivepeopleassignmentsforwhichth
23、eyarewell-suited.WeExpectOurManagersandSupervisorstoTrainTheirPeopleWeconducttrainingschools,workshops,andotherprogramsinordertomeettheneedsofourpeople.However,itistheresponsibilityofourmanagementteamtoensurethattheirpeoplereceiveallthenecessarytrainingandthatitiseffective.Wereviewtrainingregularlyt
24、oseethatitisrelevanttoourcurrentneeds.WeHoldFrequentEvaluationsWithOurEmployeesAboutTheirPerformanceReviewsofeachpersonsperformanceenableustoarriveatamutualunderstandingaboutprogresstowardmeetinggoalsandobjectives.Weholdformalevaluationsperiodically.However,thereisnosubstitutefordailyandweeklyfeedba
25、ckoneachpersonsperformance.Wefollowupontheresultsofallevaluationstoensurethecontinueddevelopmentofourpeople.WeHaveMeaningfulDiscussionsWithOurPeopleCooperationandteamworkamongallourpeoplearenecessaryforthecontinuedsuccessofourbusiness.Tofosterthisspirit,weseektodevelopmeaningfulbusinesslikerelations
26、hipsandbettercommunicationsbyhavingregularandfrequentplannedindividualandgroupdiscussions.WeRecognizeAccomplishmentsOurpeopledeserverecognitionforaccomplishmentsintheirregularjobsandforcontributionsmadetootherdepartmentsandoperations.Theyalsodeserverecognitionfortheextraefforttheymaketosatisfycustom
27、ersandfortheirparticipationineffortsthatbenefittheircommunities.Allmanagersandsupervisorsareresponsibleforrecognizingtheaccomplishmentsofpeopleintheirowngroups.Ourestablishedprogramsareintendedtoensurethatdeservingemployeesarerecognizedappropriatelyfortheiraccomplishments.Theseprograms,however,donot
28、replacetheimportantroleofthemanagerorsupervisorinemployeerecognition.WePromoteanOpen-doorApproachtoManagingPeopleEverypersonshouldfeelfreetodiscussmatterswithmanagementpeopleinourcompany.Accessibility,however,doesnotrelieveanyoneoftheobligationtorespectdelegatedlinesofauthority.Employeesareencourage
29、dtodiscusstheirideasortrytoresolveadisputedmatterwiththeirimmediatesupervisorbeforeseekingthecounselofothers.Oneofourcompanysstrengthsisthedevelopmentofprofessionalrelationshipsamongeveryone,regardlessofauthorityorresponsibilitylevel.WeGiveEachEmployeeComplaintPrompt,SincereAttentionIfoverlookedorne
30、glected,evenminormisunderstandingscanescalateintomajordissatisfactions.Wetrytoanticipateandeliminatecausesofcomplaints.Whenaquestionexists,wegivetheemployeethebenefitofthedoubt.Theimmediatesupervisorhastheinitialresponsibilityforresolvingacomplaint.Whennecessary,weinvolvethenextlevelofmanagementand,
