5、 the students listen to the recording and then encourage them to tell what they can hear.Step 2: Listening with questions.Let the Ss listen to the whole story while looking at the pictures, and then ask them some questions: box does Sandy want? (Teacher can give choices: the blue box or the red box)

12、Step 4: Listening Listen to the whole story and try to understand the whole story.Step 5: Listening and individual repetition Looking at the pictures, each student is invited to repeat after the recording sentence by sentence. The teacher listens carefully and makes sure their pronunciation and intonation are the same as those in the tape. Step 6: Listening and group competition Invite students to listen again and repeat in groups and see which group is the best one. Step 7: Listening and chorus repetition Ask students to listen again and repeat in chorus sentence by sentence. Step 8: Listen
