Today, I feel honored to have the chance to share my ideas about how to teach reading.In the reading process, I will focus on students long-term development and enable them to use proper reading sk
2、ills and strategies. In other words, students are guided to read efficiently and independently.My teaching plan will include 6 sections. Theyre analysis of the teaching material , analysis of the students, identifying the teaching aims and teaching procedures , and finally showing blackboard designS
3、ection 1 Analysis of the teaching materialStatus and content: The reading is the center of this unit, in which we will learn someexpressions , reading skills and noun clause as the subject.Teaching keys: 1. Improve the students reading skills.2. Enable the students to learn about the development of
4、life.Teaching difficulty: The process of the development of life.Section 2 Analysis of the students1. The students are Senior one, so the tasks I set shouldnt be too difficult.2. The students have previewed the reading part before the lesson and learnt new words, so that during teaching, we have no
5、new words.Section 3 Identifying the teaching aimsBased on the analysis of the teaching material, I have chosen the following as the teaching aims of my lesson:Knowledge aim: Students are familiar with various expression and have a good command of the development of the life.Ability aim: Students can
6、 figure out the implied meaning while reading and listening .Emotion aim: Students realize the importance of the protecting our environment and loving our earth and life. Section 4 Teaching methodsIn order to achieve the teaching aims mentioned above, I decide to choose guided reading and Task-
7、Based Teaching as the main teaching approach. With the teaching methods, I can guide students to use effective reading strategies to comprehend the text, solve problems and complete different tasks.guided reading cooperative learning task-based method Section 5 Teaching procedures The teaching
8、 procedures include four parts. Theyre reviewing useful words, skimming, careful reading and discussion. Part 1. review the words Reading begins before a book is opened. Its important draw their attention to the topic of the text. In this part, I will use a guessing game to increase students co
9、ncentration, arouse their curiosities, prepared well for the reading. Part 2. lead in In this part it is important to activate students existing background knowledge.During the part, I will ask the students to answer the questionEach religion and culture has its own ideas about how life began o
10、n earth. What do you know ? guide students to think the opinions of Chinese ,for example, Pangu separated, Nvwa created human world, God create the sky and then introduce the scientific explanation about the beginning of life by a video. Part 3. skimming Help the main ideas find their houses!Paragra

12、 careful reading for detailsIn this part, I will encourage the students to answer the question? As we know, information in a reading passage is not always stated directly. Sometimes students have to infer, or make guesses according the information which is available in the reading. So in this part,
13、the students are asked to infer the implied meaning, distinguish meaning from the supporting details and understand how the text is organized. The part consists of three tasks.Task 1: chose some students to read the paragraph, others listening carefully . I show some pictures to help students unders
14、tand the material.Par. 1-3 How did water and atmosphere appear?1.For several billion years after the “big bang”, the earth was still just _ 2. Between 4.5 and 3.8 billion years ago, _3. 16、stening the Par. 5 to finish the question “Why the world is becoming hotter and hotter?” students can discuss the question and encourage students to give their own opinions.Part 5: Discussion What will our future be if the earth may become too hot for lives on it? How to solve(解決) the problem of glo
17、bal warming? Encourage students to take part in the discussion and speak out their opinion and solutions. After the discussion, I will make some comments on the opinion of the students, then educe the emotion aims of the passageprotect our environment , love our earth and love our world.
