This class is the first period of reading. The passage"who am 1 ” talks about the h
2、istory and development of computers, which is the main topic of this unit. It is the foun dati on and core of this un it, that is, the most fun dame ntal and importa nt part.Accordi ng to the new Curriculum Criteria, I decide to adopt Task-based Lear ning (TBL). The stude nts will be give n tasks to
3、 talk about computers' developme nt and express their attitudes toward surfi ng the intern et. I n this way, not only will the stude nts' lear ning motivati on be greatly stimulated, but also their com muni cati on skills will be effectively improved. In the mean time, they will appreciate t
4、he adva need scie nee and tech no logy, and hold a positive attitude towards using computers.The New Curriculum Reform also requires the stude nt to obta in and analysis the information in English by summarization and reasoning. It is a challe nge for the stude nts. 1 decide to use a timeli ne to hi
5、ghlight the importa nee and a chart to break through the difficult points in this period. Just as the Con structivism suggests, tables such as timeli nes and charts can clear show the relation between the information and will make it easier for the stude nts to un dersta nd the Ian guage poin ts.教學(xué)目
