Material analysis本課是九年級英語第五單元第三話題的閱讀課，本課的主活動為1a和3。1a介紹了美國第十六任總統林肯的事跡，通過完成排序任務讓學生體驗如何按照時間順序對人物事跡進行描述，1b和1c的閱讀任務訓練學生的尋讀技巧和根據語境猜詞的能力。通過的問題討論對所學內容進行口頭輸出，最后設置的寫作任務用以訓練學生的綜合語言運用能力，并要求學生學會在教師的指導下對自己的作品進行修改。通過本節(jié)課的學習，鼓勵學生用所學語言談論和描述歷史人物，理解名人名言的含義，并以此鞭策自己：在學習上要堅持不懈，永不放棄。.Teaching aims1.
