1、Other the otherothersthe othersanother 的區(qū)別：the other 是形容詞要加名詞，是特指的。表示其他的。other 是泛指的，也是形容詞后要加名詞 the others是一個(gè)名詞，后面不需要加什么名詞了，是特指的 。表示二者之中的另外一個(gè)，或者是兩部分之中的另外一部分others 是名詞，是泛指的another意為“另一個(gè)”，特指與此是同種物質(zhì)的另一個(gè)，用于三個(gè)或以上1.other可作形容詞或代詞，做形容詞時(shí)，意思是“別的，其他”，泛指“其他的（人或物）”。后可接復(fù)數(shù)名詞,相當(dāng)于others,但是others后不能接名詞。如：Ask some othe

19、ter than the others. 這本字典比別其他的好這幾個(gè)詞意義相近，學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)，我們主要注意它們后面所跟的名詞形式就行。（1）another單數(shù)名詞：泛指另外一個(gè)。（2）other可數(shù)名詞的復(fù)數(shù)或不可數(shù)名詞：另外一些。多用于構(gòu)成詞組：some. other.（一些另一些）others other名詞（3）the other單數(shù)名詞：兩者中的另一個(gè)，構(gòu)成詞組：one. the other（一個(gè)，另外那個(gè)）the other復(fù)數(shù)名詞：其余的the others the other復(fù)數(shù)名詞：其余的another與other的區(qū)別。 Some students like English and

20、 other students (others) like physics. 有些學(xué)生喜歡英語(yǔ)，有些學(xué)生喜歡物理。 【解析】other表示“別的”，“另外的”，只能與復(fù)數(shù)名詞連用。但other前有冠詞the即可與單數(shù)名詞連用。如: I have two pens. One is blue. The other (pen) is black. 我有兩枝鋼筆。一支是藍(lán)色的，另一支是黑色的。 John did better than all the other players in the sport. 在那項(xiàng)運(yùn)動(dòng)中John比所有別的運(yùn)動(dòng)員都出色。 【解析】the other加復(fù)數(shù)名詞指的是一定范圍

21、內(nèi)“所有其余的人或事物”，是特指;而other加復(fù)數(shù)名詞卻是沒(méi)有明確范圍的“另外的人或事物”。如: We must think more of other comrades. 我們必須多想想別的同志。 This shirt is too large for me. Please show me another. 這件襯衫我穿太大。請(qǐng)另外拿一件我看看。(一般商店不會(huì)只有兩件襯衫) 【解析】another, the other作代詞的用法。The other表示“兩個(gè)數(shù)量中的另一個(gè)”，表示特指，總數(shù)為倆;another表示“總數(shù)為三個(gè)以上中任意的另一個(gè)”，表示泛指。如: His parents b

24、er泛指別人，可與some連用;the other 指兩個(gè)中的另一個(gè)，常和one連用;the others表示其余所有的人或物;another則泛指另一個(gè)。 other 可以做形容詞，表示其他的，比如other people其他的人。 也可以做代詞，但是做代詞時(shí)一般不以原形出現(xiàn)，一般用以the other或者以復(fù)數(shù)形式“others”出現(xiàn)。 others 和some對(duì)比使用時(shí), 是“有些”的意思而不是做“其他”講, 如:Some cleaned the windows, others mopped the floor. 有的擦窗戶(hù), 有的擦地板。 the others 是“其余的”意思, 表示

25、在一個(gè)范圍內(nèi)的其他全部, 如: This dictionary is better than the others. 這本字典比別其余的好。 the other 是其中的“另一個(gè)”, 如:Give me the other one; not this one. 給我那一個(gè), 不是這一個(gè)。 兩個(gè)中的“另一個(gè)”是“the other”; 不定數(shù)目中的“另一個(gè)”是“another” , 如:This glass is broken.
