1、Unit6 Im going to study computer science.Section A第一課時(1a-1c) 一、教材分析:1、教材的地位和作用:本節(jié)課的教學內(nèi)容是人教版新目標八年級上Unit 6 Im going to study computer science Section A(1a-1c) , 是本單元的第一課時,主題是關(guān)于夢想的職業(yè)和生活目標,學生對此很熟悉且很感興趣。在本課時,主要引導(dǎo)學生學習關(guān)于職業(yè)的單詞以及be going to 的用法,能用一般將來時談?wù)撐磥碜约汉退死硐氲穆殬I(yè),為實現(xiàn)理想做出的打算和安排;目的是通過對人生理想的討論使學生不僅對未來充滿憧憬,而
2、且要從現(xiàn)在起為自己的理想而奮斗。該課的新單詞和目標語言是本單元的主要內(nèi)容,因此,讓學生學好這一課非常重要。2、教學目標: (1)語言知識目標: 1) 學習并掌握以下單詞:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist, 2)學習并掌握以下句型: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player. How are you going to do tha

Im going to practice basketball every day.3) 學習了解以下結(jié)構(gòu)并能用一般將來時態(tài)表達將要做的事情。Be going to ,want to be.(2)能力目標:能用所學新單詞、目標語言和be going to 句型談?wù)搶淼拇蛩?。?)情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:每個人都有自己的夢想和對未來的打算,對于將來想要從事的職業(yè)也充滿了憧憬。因此,應(yīng)通過學習本單元的內(nèi)容來激發(fā)學生們的學習主動性和學習興趣,讓他們下定決心為實現(xiàn)自己的理想而奮斗。3、教學重難點:1). 教學重點:1)本課出現(xiàn)的所有新詞匯grow up, computer programmer,
4、cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist,2)目標語言: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player. How are you going to do that? Im going to practice basketball every day.2) 教學難點:用一般將來時態(tài)表達自己未來的打算 二. 學生情況分析:學生們已經(jīng)學了一年的英語,懂得了一些英語知識。并已了解句型(will be),但他
5、們不知道怎樣便用be going to 表將來,在前面的學習當中,他們已經(jīng)了解了簡單的表職業(yè)的單詞,如teacher,doctor等,但他們不知道較困難的表職業(yè)的單詞,如computer programmer,pilot等等。因此,在這一課,我將對這些詞匯進行教學。三、教學方法和學習方法:1、教學方法:聽、說、交流教學法以及任務(wù)型教學法。主要有聽力練習、雙人活動編對話、分小組做調(diào)查報告。2、學習方法:學生們通過聽、說、雙人活動,分組活動合作學習本課的新單詞和目標語言。四、教學準備:錄音帶、多媒體課件。五、教學步驟Step1.leading-in and teach the new words.
6、(12分鐘)Have a free talk with the students.T: do you have a dream?Ss: yes, I do.T: what are you going to be when you grow up?Ss: Im going to be a/an T: you are great, ok, lets look at these jobs , can you guess these jobs ?(what does he/she do?)Show the pictures on the screen. Review the old words and
7、 teach the new words by guessing games: grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist.(設(shè)計意圖:復(fù)習已學過的表職業(yè)的單詞并教學新的職業(yè)單詞,這是本節(jié)課最基礎(chǔ)的內(nèi)容,為他們的語言輸出作好準備。)Step2. Group competition.(5分鐘)1. Guide the Ss to work in groups of four, learn and practice the new words w
8、ith the word cards. One does action, the other guesses or one say English, the other say Chinese2. Rank the jobs T: do you think these jobs are interesting? Now rank them please, No1 is the most interesting job, and No 12 is the least interesting.Have students finish 1a in groups, then check their a
9、nswers and find out the most interesting job in the students opinions.(設(shè)計意圖:合適的競賽能喚起學生學習英語的興趣,并能鼓勵他們記住新單詞;小組活動能培養(yǎng)學生的合作學習技能。)Step3:Present the new structures (5分鐘)T: Boys and girls, there are many kinds of jobs in the world. Whats your dream job? Do you know how to ask and answer? Now lets learn the
10、new structure: what are you going to be when you grow up? Im going to be basketball player .how are you going to do that? Im going to practice basketball every day.Ask the Ss to look at the screen and read after me.then practice the conversations by using the jobs above like this:A: what are you goi
11、ng to be when you grow up?B: Im going to be a/anA: how are you going to do that?B: Im going to (設(shè)計意圖:通過教學和練習目標語言,為接下來學生的聽力作準備,以便他們能聽懂對話并完成任務(wù)。)Step4:listening(8分鐘)Call attention to the items in activity 1b. let the students read the items before listening to the tape.T: look at the example given. “Co
12、mputer programmer” is connected with “study computer science”. That is to say, if you are going to be a computer programmer, you should study computer science.Now listen to the tape and finish 1b.then check their answers.(設(shè)計意圖:先對聽力的任務(wù)進行閱讀,以便讓學生更好地把握聽力內(nèi)容,并能抓住重點,更好地實踐聽力技能。)Step5: Pair work.(7分鐘)Ask tw
13、o students to read the sample conversation, then make conversations with their partner by using the jobs in 1a.For example:1、-What are you going to be when you grow up?-Im going to be an engineer.- How are you going to do that?- Im going to study math hard.2、-What are you going to be when you grow u
14、p? -Im going to be an actor. -How are you going to do that? -Im going to take acting lessons.(設(shè)計意圖:通過雙人活動,讓學生練習使用目標語言來表達自己未來想要的職業(yè)以及自己的打算;主要訓(xùn)練學生“說”的能力。)Step6: group work(6分鐘)Interview: work in groups of four, one is a interviewer ,interview your members in your group, then report their jobs and how t
15、hey are going to do that. Example:Xiaoping wants to be an actor ,he is going to take acting lessons. Fanghua wants to be a basketball player; he is going to practice basketball every day.(設(shè)計意圖:通過小組采訪與報告的形式讓學生練習說英語,以達到訓(xùn)練學生綜合運用英語的能力。)Step7: Summary and homework.(2分鐘)Sum up the new words and the target
16、 languages in this period.Show a star story of Wang Baoqiang to tell the Ss to hold on their dreams and they will come true one day. 2、write a composition about yourself with the topic “My plan for life”(設(shè)計意圖:通過總結(jié)本課要點,讓學生對本節(jié)課的知識有一個系統(tǒng)的認識;讓學生運用本課目標語言寫一篇關(guān)于自己夢想職業(yè)的作文,對學生的寫作能力進行了培養(yǎng),更好地鞏固了本課知識。)板書設(shè)計: Unit 6 Im going to study computer science.
