This class is the first period of reading. The passage The Olympic Games talks about the history an

2、d significance of the Olympic Games, which is the main topic of this unit It is the foundation and core of this unit, that is, the most fundamental and important partAccording to the new Curriculum Criteria, I decide to adopt Task-based Learning. The students will be given tasks to talk about the Ol

3、ympic Games home and abroad and express their attitudes toward holding the Olympic Games. In this way, not only will the students* learning motivation be greatly stimulated, but also their communication skills will be effectively improved Meanwhile, they will appreciate the Olympic spirits, and hold

4、 a positive attitude towards these famous athletes mentioned in the passage.The New Curriculum Reform also requires Hie student to obtain and analysis the information in English by summarization and reasoning. It is a challenge for the students. I decide to use charts to break through the difficult

5、points in this period.
