GREETINGS:Task One : Learn to sing an English song .StepsTeacherStudentsAimsStep 1Play the song and encourage the students to sing together.Learn to sing the song and make gestures together.Do the warming- up activity.Step 2Self-introductionand get some Ss to introduce themselves.Introduce themselves and get to know the teacher.Get close to the students, break the strange feeling between teacher and students.II. ACTIVITIESTask Two: Talk about the famous places and travel plan.StepsTeacherStudentsAimsStep 1Show some photos, ask Ss to guess the name of the famous places of Dongguan and China. Take a competition between boys and girls. Have a competition between boys and girls. Guess the names of the places.Activate the love to their hometown and arouse their interest of learning geographical knowledge.Step 2Ask students to make a survey, hand out the paper to the students.Interview their classmates, talk about their travel plan. Advocate studying through cooperation and communication.Step 3Listen and watch.Make a report about their survey.Develop their abilities of speaking English.III. LEARNING THE TEXT:StepsTeacherStudentsAimsStep 1Play the tape twice and draw a picture on Bb.Listen to the tape , do the multiple choice and answer two questions.Develop their listening abilities.Step 2 Play the tape again and write down the new words on the blackboard.Repeat the sentences after the tape.Practise the abilities of repeating sentences.Step 3 Listen to the students.Read the dialogue.Learn to read the text correctly.IV. PRACTICETask Three: Complete a dialogue and take a message.StepsTeacherStudentsAimsStep 1Play a video, get students to write down the message.Watch the video and take a message.Help them to learn how to take a message.Step 2 Hand out the paper, get students to complete the dialogue. Walk around the classroom and give help to students.Complete the dialogue in groups.Learn to use the appropriate expressions on the phone.Step 3Get some pairs of students to act out their dialogue and ask other students to take down the message.Some act out the dialogue. The others take down the message.Practise how to take a message and pave ways to the following procedures.IV. LITTLE GAMETask Four: Pass on the message.StepsTeacherStudentsAimsStep 1Ask students to recall what Mr. Green says on the phone.Repeat Mr. Greens words.Learn the object clause.Step 2 Say a sentence to one students ear, then let the student tell the classmates what the teacher says.Listen to the teacher, and pass on the teachers sentences to the next student.Practise the object clause.Step 3Check whether the students have taken the correct sentences.The last students of the groups tell what the teacher says.Check how well the students understand the way of passing on the message.V.
