牛津英語8A Unit5 Birdwatchers( period 2) 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)一 教學(xué)背景 本教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)面對(duì)的是初中的學(xué)生 。課時(shí)一課時(shí)。教師準(zhǔn)備:不同自然保護(hù)區(qū)的圖片,網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源,錄音材料和多媒體教學(xué)設(shè)備。學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備:收集相關(guān)保護(hù)區(qū)知識(shí),了解扎龍保護(hù)區(qū)得相關(guān)內(nèi)容,預(yù)習(xí)所學(xué)課文。二 設(shè)計(jì)思路:1.教學(xué)內(nèi)容 :本課時(shí)是牛津英語8A的第五單元Birdwatchers第二課時(shí)Reading (1)。2教學(xué)內(nèi)容分析:本單元圍繞“觀鳥”這一話題展開多種教學(xué)活動(dòng)。本課時(shí)是圍繞自然保護(hù)區(qū)展開話題。由于學(xué)生在上一課時(shí)已學(xué)習(xí)了多種鳥類的名稱,知道鳥是一種可愛的動(dòng)物,我們應(yīng)該保護(hù)鳥類,自然引出怎樣保護(hù)鳥類這一話題,那就是建立自然保護(hù)區(qū),在這一課時(shí)將從鳥類自然保護(hù)區(qū)來展開學(xué)習(xí)。第一課時(shí)主要是通過閱讀來了解文章意思,通過聽力來獲取信息,在讀、聽文章的過程中學(xué)習(xí)詞匯.理解文章三 .教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)理念根據(jù)新課程理念,只有樹立以學(xué)生發(fā)展為本的思想,全方位、多角度地設(shè)計(jì)閱讀教學(xué)過程,調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生參與閱讀教學(xué)的積極性,英語閱讀課教學(xué)才能煥發(fā)生命的活力。本課以鳥類自然保護(hù)區(qū)為主要內(nèi)容,為了能充分發(fā)揮學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣,我精心設(shè)計(jì)了導(dǎo)入,在課前我播放一個(gè)女大學(xué)生為救一只丹頂鶴而失去生命的故事改編的歌曲,調(diào)動(dòng)了學(xué)生閱讀的欲望,從而積極主動(dòng)地參與到閱讀學(xué)習(xí)中來。在本課結(jié)尾,我播放了趙傳的小小鳥及動(dòng)畫,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生討論怎樣來保護(hù)鳥類。本節(jié)課課堂教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)由易到難,由淺入深,聽讀結(jié)合。有助于學(xué)生課堂上集中精力,積極思考,主動(dòng)參與課堂活動(dòng),培養(yǎng)學(xué)習(xí)策略,提高學(xué)習(xí)效率。四、教學(xué)目標(biāo):1知識(shí)目標(biāo):學(xué)生能認(rèn)讀并理解本課詞匯;重點(diǎn)句型。All year round;make more space for farms ; in danger ;understand the importance of the wetlands ;take action to protect wildlifeThe area provides food and shelter for wildlife .This means there will be less and less space for wildlifeW e need more people to help us count and do something to help the birds .2能力目標(biāo):(1)能聽懂本課文的語段,識(shí)別主題,獲取主要信息(2 )學(xué)生能夠通過閱讀故事,了解扎龍自然保護(hù)區(qū)的基本情況,獲取所需信息;3.情感目標(biāo) :使學(xué)生了解自然保護(hù)區(qū),培養(yǎng)關(guān)愛自然、保護(hù)鳥類的意識(shí),激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語興趣,培養(yǎng)小組合作精神。五、教學(xué)重、難點(diǎn): 使學(xué)生了解自然保護(hù)區(qū)-扎龍,識(shí)別并掌握所學(xué)重點(diǎn)詞匯、句型。教學(xué)難點(diǎn): 學(xué)會(huì)用所學(xué)詞匯和句型談?wù)撛堷B類保護(hù)區(qū),如何保護(hù)鳥類。六、教學(xué)過程: Teaching Procedures Step 1lead-in (Playing a piece of music)T: In welcome to the unit ,we learned a lot of lively birds .but now they are in danger .What should we do to protect them ?Next lets listen to a song .Playing a piece of music called “A girls story .”( it tells us : A girl in order to save a red crowned crane but lost her young life ) After the students listen to the music ,Get the students to talk about the songAsk students questions like this Have you ever heard the song ?( yes /no Introduce the story briefly )Dou you know the birds name ?( a red crowned crane)Dou you want to see the red crowned cranes? (yes )Ok lets go to a specil place _Zhalong nature reserve to see them.(Teach the words red crowned crane 、nature )Show the picture of Zhalong . 設(shè)計(jì)意圖:利用女孩徐秀娟為了保護(hù)丹頂鶴而犧牲的歌曲,自然引出自然保護(hù)區(qū)保護(hù)鳥類這一話題,激發(fā)學(xué)生閱讀的興趣。 Step2. Fast reading for the main idea1、First get the students to read the text quickly and answer some easy questions. Its a way to train them the ability of scanning.T: Now lets read the text quickly ,after finishing reading ,try to answer the following questions ? 1).Where is Zhalong nature reserve ? 2)What can the birds easily catch for food? 3.Do many people know the importance of the wetlands ?設(shè)計(jì)說明本環(huán)節(jié)是初步了解課文。學(xué)生們看Zhalong nature reserve 的圖片及圖片上的情景,同時(shí)教師用英語進(jìn)行介紹,使學(xué)生視覺與聽覺并用,讓學(xué)生回答問題,他們可以輕松容易地獲取語言信息,訓(xùn)練學(xué)生快速閱讀抓重點(diǎn)信息的能力。Step 3、 listening Play the tape for the students and ask students to listen to the tape write T or F in the blanks1.Zhalong is a nature reserve in China. _2.Birds can find food easily in Zhalong. _3.Some birds go to Zhalong for a short stay. _4.The birds in Zhalong live in large cages. _5.There are a lot of red-crowned cranes in otherparts world. _6.Many endangered birds live in Zhalong now. _設(shè)計(jì)說明在聽的同時(shí),完成判斷對(duì)錯(cuò)題,他們對(duì)此類型的題很熟悉,難度也不大,課文較長可分段進(jìn)行,降低難度,學(xué)困生能作出正確的判斷,增強(qiáng)了他們的信心,激發(fā)學(xué)生投入課堂學(xué)習(xí)的興趣。Step 4 Further- reading for the details .Ask students to read the text carefully and answer the following questions 1.Do many birds live comfortably in Zhalong?2.Why is there less and less space for wildlife?3.How are more and more birds ?4.What does the Chinese government want to do ?5.What are the members of Birdwatching Club doing this year?6.What do we hope?設(shè)計(jì)說明本環(huán)節(jié)是讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步了解課文,給學(xué)生更多的時(shí)間去了解課文,找出課文的細(xì)節(jié),加深了對(duì)文章的理解。Step 5 Doing exercise Ask student to do Part B ( b1 and c2)Choose the right meaning for each word.1.wetlands a. river and seas b. areas of land with wet ground c. areas of land for farming or fishing2. provide a. cook meals b.grow plants c. give sth. to sb.3. Shelter a. a place to live or stay b. a larger zoo c. a place to hunt animals 4. endangered a. safe b. in a dangerous state c. a large number of5. tourists a. people who are traveling b. people who keep shops c. people who study Geography設(shè)計(jì)說明這一環(huán)節(jié)主要是讓學(xué)生鞏固文章中的重點(diǎn)短語以及提高學(xué)生的猜詞能力.c2 則是考查學(xué)生對(duì)課文細(xì)節(jié)的理解程度。Step6 Retelling the text T: Well done!We have known much about the story by listening, speaking and reading.Who can describle he story to the class in your words?(Ask some students to describle the text in front of the class.They can do it easily.)設(shè)計(jì)說明通過多種不同的練習(xí)方式,讓學(xué)生理解課文,掌握所學(xué)的語言信息,使學(xué)生在課堂上有新鮮感,不會(huì)覺得英語課枯燥、無味。此環(huán)節(jié)是讓學(xué)生進(jìn)一步進(jìn)行練習(xí),有助于鞏固學(xué)生記憶,有利于學(xué)生回憶課文信息,有利于調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生發(fā)言的積極性。Step7 DiscussionT: You did very well just now.I will give you an award . . lets watch a flash . Play the flash for the students ,after they watch the flash ,get them to have a discussion in groups -How to protect the birds .After finishing discussion ,get students to write the measures they want to take on the blackboard .設(shè)計(jì)說明這一環(huán)節(jié)通過播放flash 我是一只小小鳥配以趙傳的歌 ,利用生動(dòng)的畫面和感人的歌聲來感動(dòng)學(xué)生,讓他們從自我做起,采取措施保護(hù)鳥類,關(guān)愛自然同時(shí)又能鍛煉他們的口語表達(dá)能力。Step 8 homework - writing T: Boys and girls , d o you think the bird in the flash is very poor ?(yes)What should we do to protect the birds ? After class please write a short passage according to your discussion .學(xué)習(xí)效果評(píng)價(jià)設(shè)計(jì)從教學(xué)目標(biāo)的達(dá)成度來評(píng)價(jià)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)效果:絕大部分學(xué)生能掌握所學(xué)詞匯并能很好的理解課文。從情感、策略發(fā)展?fàn)顟B(tài)來評(píng)價(jià)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)效果:學(xué)生積極參與課堂活動(dòng),課堂氣氛輕松和諧;學(xué)習(xí)興趣濃厚,有主動(dòng)的學(xué)習(xí)態(tài)度,并能根據(jù)不同的學(xué)習(xí)任務(wù)調(diào)整學(xué)習(xí)策略。教學(xué)反思本節(jié)課最大的特點(diǎn)是將詞匯、閱讀和聽力教學(xué)融于一體,且環(huán)節(jié)緊湊。本節(jié)課詞匯復(fù)現(xiàn)率高,巧妙地貫穿于整個(gè)閱讀教學(xué)中,先是在介紹文章背景時(shí),利用圖片自然地學(xué)習(xí)詞匯;其次,在做理解故事情節(jié)的練習(xí)時(shí),復(fù)現(xiàn)詞匯,加深印象;最后通過討論鞏固課文,達(dá)成情感目標(biāo)。 結(jié)尾利用我是一只小小鳥這首歌讓學(xué)生討論如何保護(hù)鳥類關(guān)愛自然,這一話題,抓住口語與寫作練習(xí)有效的結(jié)合,為學(xué)生提供更開闊的拓展空間。牛津英語8A Unit5 Birdwatchers ( period 1)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)一 設(shè)計(jì)思路:1.教學(xué)內(nèi)容本課時(shí)是牛津英語8A的第五單元第一課時(shí)Comic stripe & welcome to this unit 。2.教材分析本單元圍繞“觀鳥”這一話題展開多種教學(xué)活動(dòng)。在單元內(nèi)容上起到承上啟下的作用。由于學(xué)生在上一單元已學(xué)習(xí)了保護(hù)動(dòng)物,關(guān)愛自然這一話題,在這一單元將從關(guān)愛自然,保護(hù)鳥類展開學(xué)習(xí)。二、教學(xué)目標(biāo):1、知識(shí)目標(biāo):、向?qū)W生介紹本單元話題“觀鳥”,同時(shí)使學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備好進(jìn)入下一課時(shí)的學(xué)習(xí)談?wù)擑B類的理想家園“Zhalong Nature Reserve”。 、學(xué)習(xí)鳥類英文名稱,并復(fù)習(xí) 所學(xué)句型。2、能力目標(biāo):、運(yùn)用所學(xué)句型和詞匯談?wù)擑B類外貌和特性; 、談?wù)搶W(xué)生最喜愛的鳥類并模仿對(duì)話,談?wù)撓埠玫脑颉?、情感目標(biāo):使學(xué)生了解鳥類,培養(yǎng)關(guān)愛自然保護(hù)動(dòng)物的意識(shí),激發(fā)學(xué)生學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語興趣,培養(yǎng)小組合作精神。三、教學(xué)重點(diǎn): 使學(xué)生了解鳥類名稱,識(shí)別并掌握所學(xué)詞匯。四、教學(xué)難點(diǎn): 學(xué)會(huì)用所學(xué)詞匯和句型談?wù)擑B類的特征,表達(dá)對(duì)不同鳥類的喜好。五、教學(xué)背景:本教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)面對(duì)的是初中八年級(jí)的學(xué)生 ,課時(shí)一課時(shí)。 教師準(zhǔn)備:不同鳥類圖片,網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源,錄音材料和多媒體教學(xué)設(shè)備。 學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備:收集相關(guān)鳥類知識(shí),了解鳥類特征,預(yù)習(xí)所學(xué)課文。六、教學(xué)過程: Teaching Procedures STEP 1Playing a piece of musicPlaying a piece of music called “the seaside voice.”(there is sound by birds .) After the students listen to the music ,Get the students to talk about the music . Is it nice ? (Yes .)Where is the man playing the piano ? (Near the sea .)Whats there near the sea ? (Birds .)Would you like to go and see the birds ? (Yes .)Lets go birdwatching .Lets be birdwatchers . (Teach the words “birdwatching ,birdwatcher.”)STEP 2 Reading and guessingTell the students if they want to be a good birdwatcher ,first they should read and guess what bird it is. Show the riddle on the screen .I am a bird .I have two wings .And I can fly high in the sky .When I am hungry ,I eat insects with my beak . I have blue and green feathers . Everyone says I look very beautiful in the sun .I can speak if you speak to me . ( A parrot .)Show the sentences one by one and get the students to guess .It is also very nessary for the teacher to revise the words , like “wings beak feather” . Get the students to read the words well .STEP 3 Talking about birds As it is illustrated in the following pictures ,show the pictures of different kinds of birds .And then talk about them focusing on whats special about the birds .STEP 4 Giving namesShow the pictures together and then get the students to give their names . Make sure all the students can read the names correctly .STEP 5 Doing some riddles Get the students to do some riddles .Make sure they know the birds well. a. I live close to sea .I have black and grey or black feathers .I am long winged. I am web-footed .Ican swim very well . Who am I ?b. I live in wetland. I am very tall . I have long beak ,long neck and long legs .I have black and white feathers . Who am I ?c. I have brown or grey feathers. I am small .I often live near the houses . People can often see me and hear me . Who am I ?d. I am strong .My wings are broad .My beak are hooked and my feathers are brownish .Do you know me ?e. I am very beatiful .I can swim beautifully with my white feathers . And I also have thin long neck . Can you say my name ?STEP 6 Making up new dialoguesAsk the students :What bird is your favourite ?Which bird do you like best ? Why ?Ask the students to make up new dialogues using the dialogue in Part B as a model.- Which bird do you like best ?- I like best .- Why ?- Because STEP 7 ExercisesGet the students to fill in the blanks and help the students to organise their ideas again .My favourite birdsAmong all the birds ,I like the swallow best .They have long pointed wings .They have forked tails . They fly to northern countries in summer . They are both beautiful and clever .Golden eagles are almost the strongest birds in the world .They have brownish feathers and broad wings .Their beaks are hooked .
