Play the recording a second time. Say: There are three conversations. The people talk about what did on vacation. Listen to the recording and write numbers of the names in the right boxes of the picture. 4. Check the answers. 3Pair work 1). Point out the sample conversation.2). Ss work in pairs. Play the recording a second time for the Ss to check “Yes, I did.” or “No, I didnt. ” 5). Check the answers with the Ss. 5. Pair work 1). Let two Ss read the conversation between Grace, Kevin and Julie. 2). Let Ss work in pairs and try to role-play the conversation. 3). Ask some pairs to act out their conversations. Step 4 Expansion and Promotion (拓展提升)Did you buy anything special?在英語中，anything, something, nothing和everything是用于指代事物的復(fù)合不定代詞，與之相對應(yīng)的復(fù)合不定代詞anyone, someone, no one和everyone (anybody, somebody, nobody和everybody) 用于指人。與形容詞連用時，形容詞必須置于復(fù)合不定詞之后，語法上稱作“后置”。簡言之：形容詞修飾不定代詞放在其后。e.g. I can see someone new in your group.
