Teaching planUnit9 Can you come to my party? 課前反思:In this unit, we should learn how to invite people to do things or go to the party politely, mean while, we also need to learn how to decline or agree when others invite us.Learning objectives and Demands:1: Words and phrases: Review the words and expressions we have learnt learn the new words : Prepare, prepare for, exam, flu, another time go to the doctor.2: Key sentences: Can you come to my party on Saturday afternoon? Sure, Id love to. Can you go to the movies on Saturday? Im sorry. I have too much homework this weekend. Thats too bad. Maybe another time. Sure. Thanks for asking. Teaching key points and difficulties1. Key words in this part. Such as “prepare, prepare for, exam, flu, available, another time go to the doctor.”2. Key sentences: Can you come to my party on Saturday afternoon? Sure, Id love to. Can you go to the movies on Saturday? Im sorry, Im not available. I have too much homework this weekend. -Thats too bad. Maybe another time. - Sure. Thanks for asking. 3. Help the students learn how to make, accept and decline invitations.Teaching procedures and possible time allotment (40min)Organization and revision T: Organize all the students for the new lesson by greeting them as usual and welcome all the teachers in our class warmly. Then lead in the new lesson.T: Hello, everyone! Im so glad that I have this chance to be here to learn from the other teachers. (Help them while learning, make sure they know how to express well after learning.)OK, guys, let s look at the screen and learn to describe each picture in English.Show them the pictures one by one about “have to study for a test go to the movies go to the doctor have the flu prepare for an exam.” Practicing:Show the students the pictures of the party they had last term and ask them to invite their friends to come to the party. sentence pattern: Can you /he she come to my party on Saturday afternoon?
