Unit 4 I used to be afraid of the dark.Period 2 Section A 3a-3c本課分析本節(jié)課是該單元的第二個課時。讓學生通過對文本的閱讀了解一位性格靦腆的亞裔女孩轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)槊餍堑墓适拢谕卣拐Z言知識、發(fā)展技能及閱讀策略的同時,向?qū)W生傳遞出關(guān)注自我發(fā)展和自我完善的重要性。21世紀教育網(wǎng)版權(quán)所有學情分析通過上節(jié)課的學習,學生已經(jīng)學會了用目標語言used to描述自己和他人過去經(jīng)常做的事情,也會對人物的外貌和性格的變化做出描述,基本達成語言目標,這是學習本課時的優(yōu)勢。但是學生對于情感目標“事物在不斷變化,養(yǎng)成積極向上的心態(tài)” 可能理解的還不夠透徹,本節(jié)課在進一步拓展語言知識,發(fā)展語言技能的同時,可以著重向?qū)W生進行情感目標的滲透。教學目標1、語言知識目標:1) 學習掌握下列詞匯: background, interview, Asian, deal with, dare, private, guard, require,并復習鞏固Section A 部分所學的生詞和詞組,達到熟練運用的目標。2) 閱讀短文,能按要求獲取相關(guān)的信息,并且通過閱讀訓練來提高學生們的閱讀能力。3)總結(jié) used to 的不同句型,學習運用used to來表達“過去常?!贝嬖诘臓顟B(tài)或的發(fā)生的動作。2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標:讓學生明白事物是在不斷發(fā)展、變化的道理,培養(yǎng)學生積極向上的心態(tài)。教學重難點重點:1) 掌握本部分出現(xiàn)的生詞和詞組,達到熟練運用的目標。2) 閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)的信息。通過閱讀練習,來提高閱讀能力。難點:1) 閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)的信息的能力。2) 理解并運用所學的詞匯及表達方式。3) 掌握used to的用法,學習表達過去常常做的事情或狀態(tài)的句型課時安排1課時課前準備準備好錄音機,制作多媒體課件和學案。教學方法任務型教學法、情景交際法、自主學習和合作學習相結(jié)合。教學過程新課導入:Step1 Warming upShow the picture of Candy Wang and ask the following questions for students to discuss:1. (設計意圖:進一步讓學生理解文本內(nèi)容,同時訓練學生的語言輸出能力。)教學反思:在對閱讀部分處理時,采用任務型教學法,通過給學生設置問題,讓他們通過閱讀來解決,在學習鞏固目標語言的同時完成對文章的理解。在閱讀之后,引導學生理解任何人都會發(fā)展變化,如果你有夢想,那么就要堅持自己的夢想,努力調(diào)整和改變自己,讓自己的夢想成真。課堂小結(jié)觀察與思考一、 學生先自主學習,然后以四人一組的方式討論:1、 本課學習了哪些內(nèi)容?重要的單詞、短語、句型是什么?2、 你能講出Candy Wang 的故事嗎?二、 老師總結(jié)本節(jié)課學習了關(guān)于Candy Wang的一篇文章,通過文章,我們進一步練習了用目標語言used to進行閱讀,并且再次明確了事物都在發(fā)展變化的道理,我們要培養(yǎng)積極向上的心態(tài)。(設計意圖:通過自主學習和合作學習的方法,總結(jié)本課重點句型,師生共同合作再現(xiàn)本課重點。) Homework 1.
