Unit 3 This is My SisterSelfintroduction:Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, I come from Foreign Language School of Qujing Normal University. Im Fu Huirong, my student number is 41 of Class 6.Today, the title I will say is ”This is my sister”. First, lets analyse the textbook material.l 說教材This class comes from Unit 3, Grade 1 of book 1. It goes through the whole teaching after Unit 2, also is the fundation of learning next unit, the important part of students reasonable knowledge connection. Because this class connects unit 2 and unit 4, it has important significance in the future English learning. And this class is an important part on the fundation of learning to talk about the calling of family members. l 說目標 Knowledge objectives: 1. Review the names of family members and the relatives, as well as the phraseology of expressing the concrete objects. 2. Know about the vocabulary: grandfather, grandmother (grandparents), mother, father (parents), cousin, brother and sister. 3. Know about the sentence pattern (grammar focus): -Whats this?-This is a/an-Who are thesethose?-These/Those are myAbility objectives: 1. Improve the ability to use and communicate English through a lot of tasks and activities. 2 . Improve students listening skill, speaking skill, reading skill and write skill.Affectional objective: Motive the students learning interests and make them obtain achievement feelings and increase their confidence.Strategy objective: Using the direct teaching method to teach the students to master the language point.l 說學情 According to the age features of junior students, during the target language and lots of practice, I use the multimedia equipment to show many pictures, I hope this will enlighten the students to learn English directly, make the abstract things become more concrete so that the interaction between teacher and students will be more active. l 說教法 This class I will use the task-based learning teaching approach. In order to attract and motive students interests I use the multimedia equipment to develop the class. During the class, I will have them practice a lot. According to the standards of the new standards of junior English books, I mainly use the task-based learning approach to carry on lots of activities.l 說教學程序 According to the task-based learning approach, I divide the teaching procedures into five parts.(1) Warming up Greeting between students and teacher. (2)Pre-task 1. Review the knowledge we have learnt last class. For example, I will say “we had learnt a sentence pattern: -Whats this? -This is a/an Right? Can you use it to make a dialogue by yourself?” to lead to topic we will discuss this class. Then write the sentence pattern on the blackboard.2 .According to the students conversation lead to the target language” -Who is he/she/this? -This is his/her/my” Write this sentence pattern on the blackboard and teach them to read.(3)While task 1. Use the multimedia equipment to show the pictures of my family and let them ask me questions by using the new sentence pattern. Then write the dialogue on the blackboard and teach them to read.2. Let the students practice in groups several times then ask their families members each other.3. Invite several groups students to performance in the platform.(4)After-task 1. Summary the target language of this class. 2. Explain how we can ask the relationship between their families.(5)Homework 1. Review the words and the new sentence pattern we have learnt today. 2. Use your familys picture to practice by using these words and the new sentence pattern. AppendixUnit 3 This
