由于受到了很好的照顧,她身體恢復(fù)得很快。3)作條件狀語Itwilltakeyouhalfanhourtogettothestation,allowingfor(考慮到,估計(jì)到)trafficdelays.把路上的交通延誤算進(jìn)去,你要用半小時(shí)才能到車站。4)作讓步狀語

Granting(that)(即使,假定)thistobetrue,wecannotexplainit.雖然我們承認(rèn)這是事實(shí),卻無法予以說明。(這里grantingthat多數(shù)都認(rèn)為可作連詞。)現(xiàn)在分詞短語做狀語時(shí),可以表示謂語動(dòng)作發(fā)生的時(shí)間、原因、條件、讓步、方式、伴隨、程度和結(jié)果?!緺钫Z中就差不能作目的狀語了!】例如:5)作方式狀語Yougavemesuchafrightcreepingup(慢慢/躡手躡腳爬上來)onmelikethat!你那樣不聲不響地從后面過來,嚇了我一跳。6)作伴隨狀語Thelittleboywentupstairs,trailing(拖,拉)histeddy(泰迪)bearbehindhim.那個(gè)小男孩走上樓去,身后拖著他的泰迪玩具熊。7)作程度狀語這種用法有限,相當(dāng)于程度副詞,主要用于加強(qiáng)語氣。Hewascaughtintheheavyrainandgothisclothessoaking(浸泡,濕透)wet.他淋了一場大雨,把衣服全部弄濕了。8)作結(jié)果狀語Thechildfell,strikinghisheadagainstthedoorandcuttingit.那孩子跌倒了,頭碰在門上磕破了。如何區(qū)分謂語動(dòng)詞和分詞動(dòng)詞?對(duì)我們初學(xué)者來說,當(dāng)一個(gè)句子里出現(xiàn)兩個(gè)動(dòng)詞時(shí),往往不知道該用哪個(gè)動(dòng)詞作謂語,哪個(gè)動(dòng)詞作分詞。下面介紹四點(diǎn)規(guī)律,供參考。1.表示行為的動(dòng)詞作謂語,表心理活動(dòng)的動(dòng)詞作分詞。如:

Istoppedatthecrossroads,wonderingwhichroadIshouldtake.

我在岔路口停住了,不知道該走哪條路。2.若兩個(gè)動(dòng)詞均為表行為動(dòng)詞,表示整體動(dòng)作的動(dòng)詞作謂語,表示部分動(dòng)作的動(dòng)詞作分詞。如:

Hejumpedandjumped,movinghisarms.他跳著,揮動(dòng)著手臂。3.stand,sit,lie等多用作謂語,其他動(dòng)詞作分詞。如:

Hestoodtherelookingoutofthewindow.他站在那兒往窗外看。4.表達(dá)主要思想的動(dòng)詞作謂語,其補(bǔ)充說明的動(dòng)詞作分詞。如:

(While)Walkingalongtheshore,shemetafriendofhers.

她沿海岸走著時(shí)遇到了一個(gè)朋友。以上只是一般規(guī)律,有時(shí)還要依上下文而定。FormsMeaningsFunctions一般式:(not)doing/beingdone完成式:(not)havingdone/havingbeingdone
