壹、人工造林取代天然林對土地造成的 傷害

【溪頭的柳杉人工林】原為暖溫帶的闊葉森林，有很豐富的殼斗科果實(shí)等食物提供小動(dòng)物覓食，食物鏈一經(jīng)破壞，囓齒科動(dòng)物即開始啃食柳杉頂芽，形成紅頭杉景象，造成極嚴(yán)重的經(jīng)濟(jì)損失。

肆、山坡地超限利用的惡果臺(tái)灣地少人稠，平原地區(qū)寸土寸金，許多住宅建築逐漸向山區(qū)擴(kuò)張。都市、鄉(xiāng)鎮(zhèn)邊緣的山坡地幾乎都是超限利用。臺(tái)灣的地質(zhì)年紀(jì)很輕，山勢陡峭，容易崩塌，加上處於地震帶上，先天上就是不利開發(fā)的條件，一但有外力干擾，一定雪上加霜，土石滑落、崩塌等災(zāi)害頻傳，不僅直接造成自然環(huán)境的消失，同時(shí)更嚴(yán)重威脅著人類的居住安全。
