diverseindustriesandregions,fromvarying

technologicalmaturitylevels,whoarecreatingawiderangeofapplicationtypes.

Thisyearweincludedadditionaldataaboutthemostfrequentlytesteddevices,configurationsandpaymentinstrumentsindifferentlocales

andindustries,aswellastheaveragenumberofconfigurationstested.Wealsoshared

Weanalyzedresultsfromarepresentative

sampleofclosedtestcyclesexecutedbetweenJanuary1,2022andDecember31,2022.AtestcycleishowApplausedefineseachuniquesetoftests:aclientsendsustestingparameters—builds,scope,coverage,etc.—andwecreateatestcyclethatincludesthespecifictestcases

andscenariostobetested.

Weanalyzeddataacrossindustries,testing

categoriesandregionsspanningmorethan

200,000bugs,tensofthousandsofdevices,andthousandsofdevice/OS/browsercombinations.

maintainandexpandtestautomationtotake
