Whatisavehicleendconnectiondevice?Thetrainendconnectiondevicereferstoallthemechanical,electricalandairdevicesthatconnecttwovehiclesorbetweentwotrains.Itisanimportantcomponenttoensurethesafetyoftrainoperationandimprovethecomfortofpassengers.Thevehicleendconnectiondevicemainlyincludescouplers,buffers,windshields,shockabsorbersbetweenthevehiclebodies,airlineconnectorsandelectricalconnectors.Itistheexistenceofthecar-endconnectingdevicethatconnectsallthecarriagesandvehiclesinthetraintoformatruetrain.ThefunctionsoftheconnectingdeviceattheendoftheEMUaremainlydividedinto5types:①Connectionfunction:Connecttheindependentvehiclesintotrainsandkeepthematacertaindistancefromeachothertoprovidepassagesforpeople,especiallypassengertrains.

②Traction:Ittransmitsthetractionandbrakingforcebetweenthefrontandrearvehiclesduringoperation.③Bufferingeffect:Whenthespeedofthefrontandrearcarsofthetrainchangesneartheslopechangepoint,thebrakingforceofthefrontandrearcarsisinconsistentandthetrainisshunted,andthetwocarscollideduringtheprocess,itcanmoderateandattenuatetheimpactforcebetweenthefrontandrearcouplers.ThefunctionsoftheconnectingdeviceattheendoftheEMUaremainlydividedinto5types:

Decompositionfunction:Whenthetrain(train)cannotcontinuetoexist,itcanquicklydecomposethetrain.⑤Brakesignaltransmissionfunction:Whetheritisapureairbraketrainoranelectro-pneumaticbraketrain,whenthedrivergivesthebrakesignal,thebrakesignalcanbetransmittedthroughoutthewholetrain.ThecompositionofthevehicleendconnectiondeviceCoupler(tractionhitch)Itisusedtoensurethatthevehiclesareconnectedtoeachotherandmaintainacertaindistance,andtotransmittensileandcompressiveforces,mainlytractionandbrakingforces,andtoensuretherelativerotationbetweenadjacentvehicles.windshieldItisusedtoestablishaflexiblepassagebetweenadjacentconnectingvehicles.Thewindshieldcanbeasingle-layerwindshieldoradouble-layerwindshield,orawindshieldsystemcomposedoftwodifferentstructurewindshieldsinsideandoutside.Theinnerwindshieldmainlyprovidesfunctionssuchaspassageofpeopleinthecar,heatpreservation,airtightnessandwatertightness,andtheouterwindshieldismainlytoachieveasmoothconnectionandtransitionbetweenthetwoworkshops.ThecompositionofthevehicleendconnectiondevicebodyshockabsorberItisusedtosuppressthemutualshakingbetweenvehiclesandimprovethecomfortofthevehicle.airlineconnectorItisusedtotransmitthecompressedairrequiredbythebrakingsystemandvehicleequipment,aswellasthecompressedairrequiredbythecoupleruncoupling.electricalconnectorItisusedtoconnecthigh,mediumandlowvoltagecircuitsbetweenvehiclesandtransmitvariouscontrolsignalsandnetworkcommunicationsignals.PerformancerequirementsforcouplersofEMUs1.AutomaticcouplinganddisassemblyfunctionofcouplerincludingcircuitandgasconnectionWhentheEMUisinuse,itmusthavetheabilitytoquicklyformasmallcarintoalargeoneanddecomposethelargeoneintosmallones.Therefore,theclose-coupledcouplermustbeabletoautomaticallyconnectanddisassemble,andhasthefunctionofmanualconnectinganddisassembling.Foruseinspecialcaseswheretheautomaticfunctionfails.Thewindshieldandothercomponentsofhigh-speedtrainsoccupylimitedspaceattheendofthetrain,andalsobringinconveniencetotheinstallationandconnectionofairductsandelectricalconnectionsystems.UnderthetechnicalconditionsofmodernEMUs,dozensofcommunicationandcontrollinesneedtobeconnectedbetweenthetrains,sotheelectricalconnectionsystemisrequiredtobeminiaturized,withintegralandautomaticconnectionfunctions.Atthesametime,thetrainpipesandbrakepipesofthetrainbrakingsystemalsoneedtobeconnectedatthesametime.PerformancerequirementsforcouplersofEMUs2Couplerclearancerequirements

15couplerusedbyordinarypassengercarsinChinaismorethan30mm,andtheverticalheightdifferenceismorelikelytobeasmuchas75mm.Themostimportantandmostimportantreasonforthestrictcontrolofthelongitudinalclearanceafterconnectingisthatwhenthetrainrunsataspeedofmorethan160km/h,whenthespeedofthetrainchangesatthepointofchangeofslope,thedistancebetweenthefrontandrearvehicleschanges.Thecouplerwillbesqueezedorstretchedduetothespeeddifference.Thelargerthegap,thegreatertheforceofmutualcollision,andthegreatertheimpactonthequalityofthetrain.PerformancerequirementsforcouplersofEMUs3StrengthrequirementsThecouplerbufferdeviceplaystheroleoftransmittinglongitudinalforceinthetrain,andneedstobearacertaincompressiveloadandtensileload.ThepowercentralizedEMUrequiresthatthecompressiveloadofthecouplerisnotlessthan1500kNandthetensileloadisnotlessthan1000kN.ThecompressiveloadandtensileloadofthecouplerofthepowerdistributedEMUarenotlessthan1000kN.onetwoThecompositionandfunctionoftheconnectingdeviceoftheEMUStructureandprincipleofvariouscouplerdevicesthreeTypesandstructuresofbuffersFourInsideandoutsidewindshieldofEMUWhatisanEMUcoupler?TheEMUcouplerisadeviceusedtoconnectthevariousvehiclesinthetrain,totransmitandmitigatetheimpactforce,andtokeepthevehiclesatacertaindistancefromeachother.Includescouplerandbumper.EMUcouplerAccordingtothepositionandfunctionofthecoupler,itcanbedividedinto:AutomaticcouplerforbothendsofEMUIntermediatecouplerbetweenEMUvehiclesTransitioncouplerusedforEMUrescueinemergency.ClassificationofautomaticcouplersAutomaticcouplerscanbedividedintonon-tightcouplersandtightcouplers.Non-tightcoupling,alsoknownasnon-rigidcoupling,allowstwoconnectedcouplerstohaverelativedisplacementintheverticalplane.Closecouplingdoesnotallowrelativedisplacementoftwo-phasecouplingintheverticalplane,butallowsalittleinthehorizontalplane.corner.Thedifferencebetweenthenon-tightcouplingandthetightcouplingnon-tightcouplingcouplers①Simplestructure,highstrengthandrelativelylightweight②Theconnectionwiththecarbodyisrelativelysimple③GenerallyusedinrailwaypassengercarsandfreightcarsFeaturesoftheclose-coupledcoupler①M(fèi)ainlyusedforhigh-speedtrains,subwayvehiclesandurbanlightrailvehiclesSmallgapreduceslongitudinalimpulse②Realizetheautomaticconnectionofthegascircuitandthecircuitbetweenthevehicles,andtheautomationofthemarshalling③Reducethegapbetweenthecontactsurfacesofthetwocouplersandimprovethebalanceofthetrainoperation④Reducethewearbetweentheconnectingsurfacesofthetwocouplers⑤ReducethenoisecausedbytheimpactofthetwotrailerhooksagainsteachotherCommontypesofclose-fittingcouplersSchaffenbergercoupler:Europe,CRH3EMU,CR400EMUShibataclosecoupling:Japan,CRH2EMU,BeijingSubwaySchaffenbergercouplerShibataclose-contactcouplerSCHAFENBERG?Couplers_ScharfenbergTheprincipleoftheclose-coupledcouplerwasinventedbytheGermanKarlScharfenbergin1903andhasbecomeastandardconfigurationonEuropeanrailwaysandCRH3cars.Therearethreetypesofclose-coupledcouplersproducedbySCHAFENBERG:fullyautomaticcouplers,semi-automaticcouplers,andsemi-permanentdrawbars.Inrecentyears,ithasalsobeenwidelyusedinChina'shigh-speedEMUandurbanrailtransit:CRH-1EMU,CRH-3EMU,CRH-5EMU,CR400EMU,ShanghaiMetro,GuangzhouMetro,ShenzhenMetro,etc.SchaffenbergerautomaticcouplerTheautomaticcouplercanrealizetheautomaticconnectionofrailwayvehicles.Onceonecarisdriventotheotherandaligned,thecouplercanconnectthecarswithouthumanassistance.Evenwhenthereisahorizontalandverticalangleerrorofthelinkedvehicle,thiscouplercanrealizetheautomaticlinkingofthevehicle.Thecouplercanrealizetheverticalcurveandhorizontalcurvemovementandtherotationmovementoftheconnectedtrain.Inadditiontomechanicalhooking,electricorpneumatichookingisalsopossible.Afteruncouplinganddisengaging,thecouplerwillenterthereadystateagain.SchaffenbergerautomaticcouplerSchaffenbergerautomaticcouplerThestructureoftheSchaffenbergerfullyautomaticcouplercouplerhead
