1.動名詞作主語

1)名詞直接放在句首作主語。例如:

2)動名詞在"Itisnouse/nogood/fun/awaste

oftime/agoodpleasure等名詞+doing”結(jié)構(gòu)中作

主語,it為形式主語。

worthwhile等形容詞+doing”結(jié)構(gòu)中作主語。

4)動名詞在"Thereis(was)no+doing”結(jié)構(gòu)中作

主語。

2.動名詞作賓語

1)有些動詞后面要求跟動名詞作賓語。常這樣用的動

詞有:

admit承認(rèn);excuse原諒;postpone拖延;

anticipate期望;fancy想象practise練習(xí);

appreciate欣賞;finish完成;prevent防止;

avoid避免;forbid禁止;propose建議;consider

考慮;forgive寬?。籸ecollect回憶;delay耽擱;

imagine想象;resent厭惡;deny否認(rèn);involve涉

中,動名詞做介詞賓語,in常要省去。

5)在復(fù)合賓語中,用it作形式賓語,將動名詞短語放

6)在“therebe”結(jié)構(gòu)當(dāng)中,be為動名詞時,該結(jié)構(gòu)

3.動名詞的被動式

1)動詞need,require,want,deserve后,用動名詞

的主動形式表示被動意義。其用法相當(dāng)于不定式的被動

結(jié)構(gòu)。

2)在(be)worth后面只能用動名詞的主動態(tài)來

表示被動意義。
