因此,無論是順敘還是倒敘,閱讀此類文章時(shí),必須要找到它結(jié)構(gòu)中的5個(gè)W(when,where,who,why,what)和1個(gè)H(how),不過不是每篇都會完整地交待六個(gè)要素。
58
personinthecompany. SurvivorFinaleappearsonthefrontpageoftheNewYorkPostaftergainingratings(收視率)thataremuch2(high)thanNBA.Americansseemaddictedtorealitytelevisionprograms3ordinarypeoplecompeteinweeks—longcontestswhilebeingfilmed24hoursaday.Butwhy?Oneofthemostcommonlyrepeated“4(true)”aboutrealityTVviewersisthattheywatchinordertotalkwithfriendsabouttheshow,buttheexplanationisquite5(correct).Infactfansoftheshowshave6muchstrongerdesireforstatus.Theyaremuchmorelikelytoagreewithstatementssuchas“Reputationisimportanttome”.Itrepresentsameanstogetattention.Andmoreattentionincreasesone’ssenseof7(important).Wethinkweareimportantifotherspayattentiontousandunimportantif8(ignore).Ordinarypeoplecanwatchtheshows,seepeople1ike9(them)andimaginethattheyalsocouldbecomefamousbybeingontelevision.10istherealityTVshowthatgivesthemasenseofbeingastarincrowd.【答案】1.isbroadcast(ed)2.higher3.where4.truths5.incorrect6.a7.importance8.ignored9.themselves10.ItII閱讀(共兩節(jié),滿分30分)第一節(jié)閱讀理解(共1小題;每小題2分,滿分20分)閱讀下列短文,從每題所給的A、B、C和D項(xiàng)中,選出最佳選項(xiàng),并在答題卡上將該項(xiàng)涂黑。 Scientistsandresearchersfearthatthe36,000drawingsonrocksinMontBegointheFrenchAlpsarebeingdamagedsorapidlythattheywillnotsurviveforfuturegenerations.Themountain,believedtohaveoncebeenasiteforprayer,isscattered(散布)with4,000-year-olddrawingscutintobarerock.Theyincludepicturesofcowswithhorns,cultivatedfields(耕地)andvariousgodsandgoddesses.Butasthepopularityofthesiteincreases,thepicturesarebeingruinedbythoughtlessgraffiti(涂鴉).JeanClottesisthechairmanoftheInternationalCommitteeonRockArt.Hesays,“Peoplethinkthatbecausethepictureshavebeentheresolongtheywillalwayscontinuetobethere.Butifthedamagecontinuesatthisratetherewillbenothingleftin50years.”Hedescribesseeingtouristsstampingonthedrawings,wearingawaytherockanddefinition(清晰)oftheartworkastheydoso.Somevisitors,hesays,evencutoffpartstotakehomeassouvenirs.“Whenpeoplethinktheycan’ttakeagoodenoughphotograph,theyrubthedrawingstogetaclearerpicture,”hesaid.“Thedrawingsarepolishedbytheweather,andifthesunisshiningandthevisitorscan’tseethemproperlytheysimplyrubthemtomakethemlookfresher.”O(jiān)therresearchersdescribehowpeoplearrivecarryinglongstickswithsharpendstoscratch(刮)theirowndrawings,oreventheirnames,intherocks.Butexpertsaredividedoverthebestwaytopreservethedrawings.HenrydeLumley,directoroftheMuseumofNaturalHistoryinParis,believesthattheonlywaytosavethesiteistoturnthewholemountainintoa“no-go”area,preventingthepublicfromgoingthereexceptonguidedtours.Otherwise,hesays,notonlywillthesitebecompletelydestroyedbutimportantresearchworkwillbereduced.Clottesdisagrees,“ThemeasuresuggestedbyHenrydeLumleyisthemostsevere,andwhileitisthemosteffective,itisalsocertaintobringaboutprotestsfrompeoplewholivethere,”hesaid.“ThesitewasclassifiedasahistoricmonumentyearsagobytheMinistryofCulture,andwemustdoasmuchaspossibletosavewhatisthere.”DavidLavergne,theregionalarchitect,alsowantstoavoidclosingthesite.“HenrydeLumley’sideaisn’tideal,”hesaid.“Ourdepartmentfeelsthatthebestsolutionistoletpeoplelookatthesite,butbecausetheareaisverybigitisdifficulttopreventvisitorsfromdamagingit.Iwouldpreferthateveryonewasabletolookatit,butthemainproblemismoney.Wedonothavethefundstoemploythenecessarynumberofguards.Wemayhavetoconsiderchargingafee.Itdoesn’tseemtobepossibletogetthegovernmentsupport.”InNice,AnnieEchassoux,whoalsoworkedonresearchingthesite,isalarmedthatasthemountainbecomeseasiertoreach—touristscannowavoidthethree-and-a-half-hourwalkbyhiringvehicles—thedamagewillincreaserapidly.Shethinksthattheonlysolutionistoropeofftheareaandprovideguides.“Youcan’tsaytheplancan’tgoaheadbecausethereisnomoney,”shesaid.“Thatisnotgoodenough.MoneymustbeprovidedbecausetheMinistryofCulturehasclassifiedthisareaasahistoricsite.Ifwedon’ttakesteps,wewillberesponsibleforlosingthedrawingsforthenextgeneration.”1.JeanClottessaysthatpeoplewhovisitthemountain____.A.donotbelievethedrawingsareold.B.believetheyareallowedtopaintthereC.thinkthedrawingsshouldbeleftaloneD.thinkthedrawingswillnotdisappear2.AccordingtoJeanClottes,someofthevisitorstotheareahave____.A.helpedtocleanthedrawingsB.takenbitsoftherockhomeC.beenunabletotakephotographsD.misunderstoodwhatthepicturesmean3.HenrydeLumleyiseagerto____.A.setupresearchprojectsB.protectpublicrightsC.keepoutindividualvisitorsD.bantrafficinthearea4.WhichwordbestdescribesAnnieEchassoux’sattitudetowardssavingthehistoricsite?A.Supportive.B.Disappointed.C.Worried.D.Hesitant.5.ThispassagehasbeenwrittenaboutMontBegoto____.A.advertisetheclosingofthesiteB.warnvisitorsaboutthedangersofthesiteC.e
