Inthefirstpart,wearegoingtolearnaboutvocabularyrelatedtohobbies.

1.HobbiesandInterests:

-Ahobbyisanactivitythatyoudoforpleasureinyourfreetime.

-Somecommonhobbiesincludereading,painting,playingsports,playingmusicalinstruments,cooking,gardening,andcollectingthings.

-Interestsarethingsthatyoufindenjoyableorfascinating,butyoumaynotactivelyparticipateinthem.

-Somepopularinterestsincludephotography,travel,watchingmovies,andlisteningtomusic.

2.ExpressingLikesandDislikes:

-Whentalkingabouthobbies,weoftenuseverbslikelove,like,enjoy,dislike,andhate.

-Toexpresslikes,wecansay:Iloveplayingbasketball,Ilikereading,Ienjoycooking.

-Toexpressdislikes,wecansay:Idislikedoinghomework,Ihatecleaningthehouse.

3.TalkingaboutFrequency:

-Wecanuseadverbstotalkabouthowoftenwedoourhobbies.

-Forexample:Isometimesplayvideogames,Ioftengohiking,Ialwaysreadbeforegoingtobed.

4.ReasonsforHobbies:

-Wehavedifferentreasonsforengaginginhobbies.

-Somepeopledohobbiesforrelaxation,suchasreadingorgardening.

-Somedoitforphysicalexercise,suchasplayingsportsordancing.

-Othersdohobbiestoexpresscreativity,suchaspaintingorplayingamusicalinstrument.

-Hobbiescanalsoprovideasenseofachievementorfulfillment.

5.HowHobbiesChange:

-Aswegrowolder,ourhobbiesandinterestsmaychange.

-Forexample,childrenmayenjoyplayingwithtoys,whileteenagersmayprefersocializingwithfriendsorplayingsports.

-Adultsmayhavedifferenthobbieslikecooking,gardening,orDIYprojects.

-Hobbiescanchangebasedonourinterests,skills,andlifestyle.

-Forexample:Whatdoyouliketodoinyourfreetime?Doyouhaveanyhobbies?Whatareyourfavoritehobbies?

4.StatingOpinions:

-Wecanuseadjectivestostateouropinionsabouthobbies.

-Forexample:Ifindpaintingrelaxing,Shethinksswimmingisexciting,Theybelievegardeningistherapeutic.

5.TalkingaboutExperience:

-Wecanusethepresentperfecttensetotalkaboutourexperiencesinhobbies.

-Forexample:IhaveplayedthepianosinceIwasachild,Shehastraveledtomanycountries,Theyhavepracticedyogaforyears.
