Theconsequencesofclimatechangearebecomingmoreapparenteachyear.Extremeweatherevents,suchasfloods,droughts,heatwaves,andhurricanes,havebecomemorefrequentandintense,causingimmensedamagetoourenvironmentandendangeringthelivesandlivelihoodsofmillionsofpeoplearoundtheworld.Risingsealevelsandthemeltingofpolaricecapsarethreateningcoastalcommunitiesandislandnationswiththeriskofsubmersion.
