e.g.:Hehaslearnedtodealwithallkindsofdifficulties.LanguagePoints①dealwith與dowith二者都可以用來表示“處理”,deal側(cè)重于方式、方法,do側(cè)重于對象。在特殊疑問句中,dealwith與how連用,dowith則與what連用。
e.g.:Idon’tknowhowtheydealwiththeproblem.=Idon’tknowwhattheydowiththeproblem.②dealwith還有一個需要注意的地方:
在動詞不定式短語todealwith中,必須帶賓語。

giveupyournormallife.……你必須準(zhǔn)備好放棄你的正常生活。(教材第27頁)bepreparedtodosth.意為“準(zhǔn)備好做某事,愿意做某事”。

意為“為……做好準(zhǔn)備”。giveup意為“放棄”,其后可接名詞、代詞或動詞-ing形式作賓語。giveup是動副型短語,后接代詞作賓語時,應(yīng)將代詞放在give和up之間。
