Theloadcapacityofaforklifttruckvaries
dependingonthehorizontaldistancebetweenthe
verticalsurfaceoftheforksandthecenterof
gravityoftheload.Aforklifttruckisequipped
withaloadchartindicatingthisrelationship
betweenthedistanceandtheloadcapacity.TheX

Themaximumforkheightdenotestheheightfromthegroundtotheuppersurfacesoftheforkswhentheforksareraisedtotheirhighestpositionwiththemastpositionedvertically.

Overalllength

Theheighttothetopoftheforklifttruck.Themastoverallheightisclassifiedin
twocategories:mastextendedoverallheightwhentheforksarefullyraisedandmastloweredheighttheforksarefullylowered.Themastloweredoverallheightmustbecomparedtotheheightoftheoverheadguard.Thisdimensionisessentialwhenjudgingwhetherornotaforklifttruckwillbeabletopassthroughandentrancetoabuildingorsomestructure.
