SharkSpottercandetectsharksandotherpotentialthreatsusingrealtimeaerialimagery.Thesystemanalyzes

videosfromacameraattachedtoadronetomonitorbeachesfbrsharks,sendwarnings,andconduct

rescues.Developedwithtechniquesknownas"deepleaming",theSharkSpottersystemreceivesimageryfromthe

dronecameraandattemptstoidentifyallobjectsinthescene.Oncecertainobjectsaredetected,theyareputinto

oneof16categories:sharks,whales,dolphins,rays,differenttypesofboatssurfers,andswimmers.

Ifasharkisdetected,SharkSpotterprovidesbothavisualsignonthecomputerscreenandanaudiblewarningto
