第8章圖像壓縮(圖像編碼)目的是減少表示數(shù)字圖像的數(shù)據(jù)量。去除冗余。35年前,電視傳輸?shù)膸拤嚎s;60年前,C.E.Shannon等的信息理論發(fā)展成目前的國(guó)際圖像壓縮標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。目前,圖像壓縮技術(shù)被認(rèn)為是一種“使能技術(shù)”(enablingtechnology”)。提高圖像分辨率,開發(fā)新的電視標(biāo)準(zhǔn),電視會(huì)議、RS、FAX等。Evaluationonly.CreatedwithAspose.Slidesfor.NET3.5ClientProfile.Copyright2004-2011AsposePtyLtd.8.1基礎(chǔ)數(shù)據(jù)壓縮——表示定量信息所需數(shù)據(jù)量的減少過程數(shù)據(jù)、信息、知識(shí)。比如,不同人講相同的事件。數(shù)據(jù)冗余:是數(shù)字圖像壓縮的中心問題。這不是抽象的概念,而是可以用數(shù)學(xué)式子度量的實(shí)體:如果表示相同信息的兩組數(shù)據(jù)所用的信息載體單元數(shù)量分別為n1和n2,則第一組數(shù)據(jù)的相對(duì)(第二組數(shù)據(jù)的)數(shù)據(jù)冗余RD可定義為:
