Oakeshottinsiststhatphilosophyshouldavoidbeingtoolofideologicalandpoliticalpropaganda.Philosophyshouldadheretotheattitudeof"radicalsubversion".Nevertheless,hisattitudeofsubversionisnotshowninakindoftheorywhichwouldbringaboutpoliticalrevolution,butinhisviewof"experienceasawhole".OakeshottdoesnotofferthisviewwiththemysteriousvEil.HejustdenotesthatwewouldrecEIvemoreconsistentunderstandingaboutworldinthemodeof"wholeexperience".AccordingtoOakeshott,thedualismabouttherelationof"experience'and"theobjectofexperience'wouldhavelessacceptabilitythanthedoctrinesuchas"thereisonlyanexperienceworldaswhole'.
