任務(wù)實施Automobileisakindofcomplexvehiclecomprisedhundredsofcomponentsorthousandsofparts.Althoughithasallsortsofstructureandshape,theoverallstructureofautomobileissimilartoeachother,includingengine,chassis,bodyandelectricalequipment(shownasFigure.1.1.1).Ofcourse,aspecial-purposeautomobilehassomeadditionalspecialdevice.Theengineisthesourceofautomobilepower,anditsroleistomakethefuelcombustandissuepower.Powerispassedthroughthechassistothewheelstodrivethevehicle.Engineisnormallymadeupofengineblock,connectingrod,valvetrain,fuelsupplysystem,coolingsystem,lubricationsystem,ignitionsystem(gasolineengineused)andstartingsystem.改革創(chuàng)新示范教材8Automobilestructure

任務(wù)實施Thechassisistheskeletonofacar,whichisusedtosupportthewholebodyandinstallallspareparts.Itconsistsofpowertrain,drivingsystem,steeringsystemandbrakingsystem.Amongthesesystems,thefunctionofpowertrainistotransmitpowertodrivethewheels.Itincludesaclutch,transmission,driveshaft,driveaxleetc..Thedrivingsystem’sroleistoassureavehicletorunnormally,includingdriveaxlehousing,wheel,suspensionandothercomponents.Thesteeringsystemisusedtoensurethatcarscantravelunderthedirectionofthedriver,includingthesteeringwheel,thesteeringgearandothercomponents.Thebrakingsystemistomakethecarslowdownorstop.Thebodyistheplacewherethedriverworks.Furthermore,itcanholdpassengersandloadcargo.Atypicalautomobilebodyisdividedintofoursections.Thesesectionscanbefurtherdividedintosmallunits,likethehood,thefenders,theroofpanels,thedoor,theinstrumentpanel,thebumpersandtheluggagecompartment.改革創(chuàng)新示范教材9Automobilestructure
