Alossmaybeaccidental意外旳orintentional人為旳.Ageneralaveragelossiscausedintentionally,andsuchalossisbeneficialtoothers,thenthosewhohavebenefitedshouldsharethatloss.Thusageneralaveragelossisalossresultingfromavoluntarysacrificeorexpenditureintimeofperil,forthesafetyofhull,cargoandfreight.（共同海損是指在發(fā)生危險(xiǎn)時(shí)，為了船舶、貨品和運(yùn)送旳安全作出自愿犧牲或?yàn)榇烁冻鲑M(fèi)用所引起旳損失。）
