農(nóng)村老年群體的數(shù)字接受困境及對(duì)策研究——以桂林市恭城瑤族自治縣為例摘要:農(nóng)村老年群體的數(shù)字接受困境已經(jīng)成為當(dāng)前社會(huì)發(fā)展面臨的重要問題之一。本文以桂林市恭城瑤族自治縣為例,深入探究了該地區(qū)農(nóng)村老年群體在數(shù)字接受方面存在的困境,分析了影響其數(shù)字接受的內(nèi)外部因素,探討了面對(duì)數(shù)字接受困境所應(yīng)采取的針對(duì)性措施。
通過文獻(xiàn)資料法、問卷調(diào)查法和訪談法的運(yùn)用,結(jié)果表明:農(nóng)村老年群體數(shù)字接受困境主要表現(xiàn)在計(jì)算機(jī)技能不足、缺乏學(xué)習(xí)意愿和信心、缺少網(wǎng)絡(luò)設(shè)備和網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源等方面;個(gè)人特征、社會(huì)環(huán)境和數(shù)字技術(shù)的可用性、可訪問性等因素是影響農(nóng)村老年群體數(shù)字接受的內(nèi)外部因素。
針對(duì)農(nóng)村老年群體數(shù)字接受困境,應(yīng)抓住其需求特點(diǎn)和生活方式,采取相應(yīng)的措施:加強(qiáng)培訓(xùn)、提高老年人的學(xué)習(xí)信心和興趣、提供更便捷的數(shù)字化服務(wù)等,應(yīng)同時(shí)積極推動(dòng)數(shù)字技術(shù)在農(nóng)村老年人生活中的應(yīng)用,拓展其社交圈和生活空間。

Abstract:Thedigitalacceptancesituationoftheruralelderlygrouphasbecomeoneoftheimportantproblemsfacingthecurrentsocialdevelopment.ThispapertakesGongchengYaoAutonomousCountyinGuilinCityasanexampletoexplorethedifficultiesfacedbytheruralelderlygroupindigitalacceptance,analyzetheinternalandexternalfactorsaffectingtheirdigitalacceptance,anddiscusstargetedmeasurestodealwiththedigitalacceptancedifficulties.
Throughtheapplicationofliteraturereview,questionnairesurveyandinterviewmethods,theresultsshowthatthedifficultiesoftheruralelderlygroupindigitalacceptancemainlylieinthelackofcomputerskills,lackoflearningwillingnessandconfidence,andlackofnetworkequipmentandresources.Personalcharacteristics,socialenvironment,availabilityandaccessibilityofdigitaltechnologyareinternalandexternalfactorsaffectingthedigitalacceptanceofruralelderlypeople.
Inresponsetothedigitalacceptancedifficultiesoftheruralelderlygroup,correspondingmeasuresshouldbetakentograsptheirdemandcharacteristicsandlifestyle,suchasstrengtheningtraining,improvingthelearningconfidenceandinterestoftheelderly,andprovidingmoreconvenientdigitalservices.Atthesametime,theapplicationofdigitaltechnologyinthelivesofruralelderlypeopleshouldbeactivelypromoted,andtheirsocialcirclesandlivingspacesshouldbeexpanded.

Externally,theavailabilityandaccessibilityoftechnologyisamajorfactor.Ruralareasmayhavelimitedaccesstointernetandtechnologyinfrastructure,whichcanlimittheabilityofelderlyindividualstolearnandutilizedigitaltools.Additionally,theremaybealackoftrainingandsupportavailabletoelderlyindividuals,whichcanmakeitdifficultforthemtolearnandadapttonewtechnology.
Toaddressthesechallenges,arangeofcountermeasurescanbeemployed.Strengtheningtrainingprogramsthatfocusontheneedsandcharacteristicsofolderindividualscanhelptoincreasetheirconfidenceandinterestinusingdigitaltechnology.Providingmoreconvenientdigitalservicesandexpandingtheavailabilityoftechnologyinruralareascanalsohelptoremovebarrierstoaccess.
Additionally,effortsshouldbemadetoexpandthesocialcirclesandlivingspacesofruralelderlyindividuals.Thiscanincludepromotingcommunity-basedactivitiesandspacesthatallowelderlyindividualstointeractandengagewithothers.Suchinitiativescanprovideopportunitiesforcross-generationallearningandcanhelptobridgethedigitaldividebetweenruralelderlyindividualsandyoungergenerations.
Overall,addressingthechallengesfacingruralelderlyindividualsinadoptingdigitaltechnologyrequiresaholisticapproachthattakesintoaccountbothinternalandexternalfactors.Throughtargetedinterventionsthatfocusonimprovingtheavailability,accessibility,andfamiliarityofdigitaltechnology,itispossibletohelpruralelderlyindividualslearnandembracenewskillsandtechnologies,andtoenhancetheirsocial,economicandhealthoutcomesasaresultInadditiontothechallengesmentionedabove,thereareseveralotherfactorsthatcouldhinderruralelderlyindividualsfromembracingdigitaltechnology.
Firstly,limitedfinancialresourcescouldmakeitdifficultforthemtoaffordexpensivedigitaldevicesandinternetconnectivity.Thisisespeciallytrueforthosewholiveonafixedincomeandhavetoprioritizetheirexpenses,withdigitaltechnologynotbeingatoppriority.Governmentsandnon-profitorganizationscouldhelpinthisaspectthroughprovidingfinancialsupportorsubsidies,suchasreducedratesforseniorcitizensoninternetconnectivityanddevices.

Finally,privacyandsecurityconcernscouldaffectthewillingnessofruralelderlyindividualstoembracedigitaltechnology.Olderadultsmaybemorevulnerabletoonlinescams,fraud,andidentitytheft,whichcanerodetheirtrustindigitaltechnology.Therefore,digitalserviceprovidersshouldprioritizeprivacyandsecurityconcernstoprotectelderlyindividuals’personalinformation.
Inconclusion,ruralelderlyindividualsfaceseveralchallengesinadoptingdigitaltechnology,whichcouldleadtosocial,economicandhealthdisparities.Itisessentialtoaddressthesechallengesthroughaholisticapproachthattakesintoaccounttheinternalandexternalbarrierstodigitaltechnologyadoption.Governments,non-profitorganizations,anddigitalserviceprovidersmustcollaboratetoprovidetailoreddigitaltraining,affordableaccesstodigitalinfrastructure,andprioritizetheprivacyandsecurityofelderlyindividuals’personalinformation.Throughtheseinterventions,itispossibletomakedigitaltechnologymoreaccessibleanduser-friendlyforruralelderlyindividuals,ensuringthattheycancontinuetoparticipateinthedigitaleconomyandimprovetheirqualityoflifeMoreover,anotherchallengefacedbyelderlyindividualslivinginruralareasisaccessingadequatehealthcareservices.Manyruralareaslackaccesstohospitalsandprimarycarefacilities,leavingelderlyindividualswithlimitedoptionsforreceivingmedicalattention.Toaddressthisissue,governmentsandnon-profitorganizationsmustinvestinexpandingtelemedicineservices,offeringin-homecareoptions,andprovidingtransportationservicesformedicalappointments.
Telemedicineenablesdoctorstoprovideremoteconsultation,diagnosis,andtreatmenttopatientsthroughvideoconferencingtechnology.Itcanbeanexcellentsolutionforelderlyindividualswhomaynotbeabletotraveltoahealthcarefacility.Moreover,in-homecareoptionscanprovideelderlyindividualswiththenecessarymedicalattentionfromthecomfortoftheirhome.Theseservicescouldrangefromregularcheck-upstomorecomplexmedicalprocedures,ensuringthatelderlyindividualsreceivetimelytreatmentandcare.
Transportationservicescanalsoplayacriticalroleinensuringelderlyindividualscanaccesshealthcareservices.Manyelderlyindividualsmayfacemobilityissues,makingitchallengingforthemtotravellongdistancestoreceivemedicalattention.Transportationservicescanprovideasafeandreliablemeansoftransport,ensuringtheycanaccessmedicalappointmentswithease.
