totheWhiteHousetotalkaboutthechallengestheyface.Andinafewweeks,

I’llholdthefirst-everWhiteHouseWorkingFamiliesSummit.We’vestillgot

toomanyworkplacepoliciesthatbelonginthe1950s,andit’stimetobring

themuptodatefortoday’sfamilies,whereoftentimes,bothparentsare

working.Momsanddadsdeserveaffordablechildcare,andtimeofftocarefora

sickparentorchildwithoutrunningintohardship.Womendeserveequalpayfor

equalwork–andatatimewhenmorewomen

arebreadwinnersforafamily,thatbenefitsmen,too.Andbecauseno

parentwhoworksfull-timeshouldhavetoraiseafamilyinpoverty,it’stime

forCongresstofollowtheleadofstateafterstate,getonthebandwagon,and

giveAmericaaraise.

thereforthem,andprovideforthem,andhelpgivethemeveryshotat

success.

父親們勤奮工作。所以我們的國家應(yīng)該盡力讓他們的努力得到回報(bào);確保他們和他們的家庭的生活更加成功一點(diǎn)，更加安全一點(diǎn)，以使他們成為他們的孩子們想要的父親們。因?yàn)槿松袥]有什么比他們花在孩子們身上的時(shí)間更加珍貴了。沒有什么比知道我們就在他們的身邊，為他們提供他們需要的，給他們?nèi)魏纬晒Φ臋C(jī)會(huì)更加幸福的感覺了。
