And then explain the uses of these words

Explain the main structures.He has four books full of stamps. 他有四本裝滿郵票的集郵冊。full of stamps意為“裝滿郵票的”,形容詞短語,作后置定語。辨析:be full
7、 of 與be filled withbe full of 意為“充滿”,強(qiáng)調(diào)狀態(tài);be filled with 意為“充滿”,強(qiáng)調(diào)動作。The future is full of hope. 前途大有希望。The bottle is filled with milk. 這個瓶子里裝滿了牛奶。Finally, its Dannys turn. 最后輪到丹尼了。finally adv. 最后,終于(相當(dāng)于at last),通常用于句首。辨析:at last, finally與in the endat last指時間的“最后”,帶有強(qiáng)烈的感情色彩。如:He has finished reading
8、 the novel at last. 他終于讀完了那本小說。finally指一系列事物或論點的順序的“最后”。如:First, well learn the new words, then the text, finally well do some exercises. 首先,我們學(xué)單詞,接著學(xué)課文,最后作幾個練習(xí)。當(dāng)不明確強(qiáng)調(diào)時間或事物的“最后”時,at last和finally可以通用。如:At last (finally) I understood him. 最后我明白了他的意思。in the end表示經(jīng)過努力之后,可用于將來時,而at last, finally則不能。如:He
9、will become a good engineer in the end. 他最后會成為一名優(yōu)秀的工程師。in the end=at last如:In the end (At last) they reached a place of safety. 他們終于到達(dá)了一個安全的地方。句中的turn是名詞,表示“輪流,輪班”,常見的用法是:Its ones turn to do sth. 輪到某人做某事了。Its my turn to sing. 輪到我唱歌了。Its your turn to clean the room. 輪到你打掃房間了。Then it will go through t
10、he door. 那么它將穿過那個門。go through通過,穿過,through是介詞,(指空間)穿過,通過,透過。如:Light comes in through the window. 光線從窗子進(jìn)來。He went in through the window. 他從窗子爬了進(jìn)去。辨析:across, over與through介詞across, over和through都可以表示“穿過,通過”。用法區(qū)別如下:across和over可表示“到達(dá)/處于.的另一側(cè)” 。但over有“翻越,超越”的意思,across則無此含義。如:A bridge runs over/across the b
11、ridge. 河上橫跨一座橋。Can you climb over that hill? 你能翻越那座山嗎?across表示動作在某一物體的表面進(jìn)行,有on的意味。而through則表示動作在某一物體的空間里進(jìn)行,有in的意味。如:John swam across the river. 約翰游過河去。The river winds its way through the valley. 這條河蜿蜒流過山谷Take your hobby out of the box and get it ready, Danny.丹尼,把你的愛好拿出來并準(zhǔn)備好。take sth. out of =take st
12、h. from =get sth. out of 意為“從中把某物拿/取出來。5.Instruct the students to read Lesson 41 and tick the correct answers of Part one of Lets Do It! And then check and correct their answers.6.Give the students more time to finish the Part Two and the Part Three of Lets Do It, and then check and correct their an
13、swers.7.Step PracticeInstruct the students to complete the Part Four of Lets Do It.Instruct the students to work in groups and interview their group members about what they or other people they know collect.Then ask one person from each group to present about one of his or her group members collecti
14、ons without mentioning the collectors name. See if the rest of the class can guess who the collector is. The first group to guess correctly wins a point.Step Homework1.
