()2. farther和further都能表示距離、時(shí)間上的 “更遠(yuǎn); 更往前”, 但要表示 “進(jìn)一步”的時(shí)候,只能用further。例如: His home is farther / further from this park than mine.他家比我家離這個(gè)公園遠(yuǎn)。The police de

3、cided to take further action.警察決定采取進(jìn)一步行動(dòng)。二、(not) as.as的用法 as.as意為 “和一樣”, not as.as意為 “不如一樣”, 表示同級(jí)的比較。1. 基本結(jié)構(gòu): as+ adj. + as, 否定形式為: not as / so+ adj. + as, 中間用形容詞的原級(jí)。例如: This book is as interesting as that one.這本書和那本書一樣有趣。This book is not as / so interesting as that one. 這本書沒有那本書有趣。2. 當(dāng)as.as中間加名詞時(shí),

4、結(jié)構(gòu)為: as+ many / much + n. +as, 其否定形式為: not as+ many / much+ n. +as。需要注意的是: 當(dāng)名詞為可數(shù)名詞時(shí), 中間為 “many+可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)”; 當(dāng)名詞為不可數(shù)名詞時(shí), 中間為 “much+不可數(shù)名詞”。例如: I have as many books as Tom.我的書和湯姆的一樣多。Lily ate as much rice as Peter.莉莉吃了和皮特一樣多的米飯。3. as.as前面常常用almost, quite, nearly, exactly等程度副詞表示比較的程度。例如: This cup is nearly
