42、rdest ideaStep 2 grammar 形容詞、副詞比較級最高級的變化規(guī)則一、 規(guī)則變化 1. 單音節(jié)詞和少數(shù)雙音節(jié)詞 (1)一般情況在原級詞尾加-er構(gòu)成比較級,加-est構(gòu)成最高級。如:high higher highest。 (2)以e結(jié)尾的詞,直接加-r 或-st。如:large larger largest。 (3)重讀閉音節(jié),末尾只有一個元音字母加一個輔音字母的詞,先雙寫這一輔音字母再加-er或 -est。如:big bigger biggest。 (4)以“輔音字母 + y”結(jié)尾的詞,先變 “y”為 “i”,再加-er 或-est。如:happy happier hap
43、piest。 2. 大部分雙音節(jié)詞和所有多音節(jié)詞 在原級前加more構(gòu)成比較級,加most構(gòu)成最高級。如:dangerous more dangerous the most dangerous。 二、 不規(guī)則變化 有一些詞的比較級、最高級變化是不規(guī)則的,需要特殊記憶。如: good / well better best bad / ill worse worst speak ill of sb.many / much more most little less least far farther farthest (表示距離) / far further furthest (表示程度) you
44、 can walk farther/ you can make a further research. 三、 一些詞的比較級和最高級,可以加-er或 -est,也可以加more或most,如:clever, polite等。 四、一些詞本身沒有比較級和最高級形式,如:right, wrong, full, empty, round, complete, wooden, dead, daily, perfect等。 比較級的用法 1. 兩者比較時用形容詞比較級,其結(jié)構(gòu)為“. 比較級 + than .”。如:My room is larger than yours. 2. 在兩者之間選擇“哪一個更”時,用句型 “Which / Who is +比較級, . or .?”。 如:Which sweater is cheaper, the red one or the yellow one? 3. 表示“兩者之間最的一個”時,用“the + 比較級”。 如:Lucy is the taller of the twins. 4. 表示“越,越”時,用“the +
