10、this step is in order to review what the students hav e learnt in Unit 9.That way, I can lead them into the ne w lesson smoothly. I think it s usual but pratical.2 . Learn the new words and expressionsa. lead in: ask students some questions: May Day was past just now , Where did you go on vacation?b
11、. CAI shows many pictures of places,which are also the activities in 1a .c. Ask students to read and spell the new phrases.d. Do 1a. Match the activities with the pictures (ag).Purpose: I put the vocabulary learning into a holiday in order to pr ompt them to find it very interesting to learn English
12、. By CAI, stud ents canmatch the vocabulary with the real things directly and master th emeasily.Step3 Listening practicea. Tellthestudentsto listen to thetapesabout 1b, 2a, 2bb. Playtherecordertwice.and thencheckthe answers.c. Playtherecorderagain, studentsimitatethe conversations.Payattention to t
13、heir pronunciation and intonation.Purpose: this is a basic and necessary step, which develops thestudents skills of listening, reading and writing.Step 4 Pairworka. Then ask some pairs to act it out.Purpose: Task-based "teaching method is used here to develop the students ' ability of communication and their ability of coope ration will be trained well .
