Materials and Methods: From January 2001 to December 2008, 68 patients with ILBC were confirmed and operated in our hospital. Statistics on the age distribution of patients, menstrual status, tum

3、or location, ultrasound, X-ray mammography examination, TNM staging and immunity grouping tumor characteristics and clinical and pathological characteristics, and then compare and analyze the features with ILBC information concerned. Result: The peak age of ILBC is between 40 and 49 years old, 29 pa

4、tients in total (42.7%); from the age 50 to 59 then followed with 16 patients (23.5%). Among them, the youngest patient is at the age of 30 while the eldest is 79 years old. The average age of the tested people is 50.2 years old. 39 patients are before menopause, taking up 57.4%, while 39 patients i

5、n or after menopause, making up 42.6%. The number of primary tumor location in left breast is 31 cases, taking up 45.6%, in right breast is 35 cases, taking up 51.5%, and in both breasts is 2 cases, making up 2.9%. The number of locating in outer upper quadrant is the most, 27 cases making up 45.0%.

6、 4 cases are positive performance in ultrasound examination before operation, 12 cases are in X-ray mammography while 11 cases of which are positive performance, making up 91.7%. In accordance with the AJCC's TNM staging, 8 cases are in period（12.9%）, 37 cases in period （59.7%）, and 17 cases in

7、period （27.4%）. In immunity grouping, 55 cases ER-positive and 56 cases PR-positive were found, taking up 87.3% and 88.9% respectively, 14 cases HER-2-positive making up 22.2%. Compared ILC with IDC, no significant difference in patient-age, menstrual status and tumor size (P>0.05) can be found.
