10、。這些頻度副詞按發(fā)生頻率的高低依次為：alwaysusuallyoftensometimesseldomhardlynever。頻度副詞在句中的位置比較靈活，但通常放在行為動(dòng)詞之前，系動(dòng)詞、情態(tài)動(dòng)詞或助動(dòng)詞之后。1. always 意為“總是，一直”，這是頻率最高的詞，表示動(dòng)作反復(fù)，狀態(tài)持續(xù)，不間斷。其反義詞是never，意為“從不”。如果要變?yōu)榉穸ň?，?yīng)將always改為never才能全部否定。另外，當(dāng)always與進(jìn)行時(shí)態(tài)連用時(shí)，常表示“總是”，帶有厭煩、不滿或贊美等感情色彩。如： Li Ping is always late for school. 李平上學(xué)總是遲到。 Li Ping i

12、通常在星期天去買東西。 3. often 意為“經(jīng)常，時(shí)?！?，表示反復(fù)性的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)，中間有間斷。其反義詞是seldom, 意為“很少，不常”。often在句尾時(shí)常被very或quite修飾。如： The boys often eat noodles and the girls sometimes eat them. 男生經(jīng)常吃面條，女生有時(shí)吃。 I often chat with my friends under the big tree. 我經(jīng)常在這棵大樹下和朋友聊天。 He writes to his friends quite often. 他常給他的朋友寫信。 4. sometime

13、s 意為“有時(shí)”，表示動(dòng)作偶爾發(fā)生，間隔較長(zhǎng)。其位置比較靈活，放在句首、句中、句末都可。如： Sometimes we go to the cinema and at other times we go for a walk. 有時(shí)我們?nèi)タ措娪?，有時(shí)我們?nèi)ド⒉健?I sometimes watch TV in the evening. 我有時(shí)晚上看電視。 My father has lunch in the factory sometimes. 我父親有時(shí)在工廠吃午飯。 5. seldom 意為“很少，不?！?，表示否定意義。如： The little girl seldom goes out.

14、 這個(gè)小女孩很少外出。 He seldom gives his wife a present, does he? 他不常給妻子送禮物，是嗎？ 6. hardly 具有否定意義，表示“幾乎不、簡(jiǎn)直不”，除非特殊情況，否則不會(huì)發(fā)生。如： The boy is so young that he could hardly understand it. 這個(gè)孩子太小了，不可能懂得這件事。 7. never 意為“從來(lái)不，從來(lái)沒(méi)有”，也表示否定意義，它表示從未發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或情況，沒(méi)有例外。如： The boys never eat chocolate and the girls seldom eat it.
