1、 牛津高中英語教學(xué)設(shè)計單元:unit 3 amazing people板塊:welcome to the unitthoughts on the design:本節(jié)課是以聽、說為主的口語教學(xué)課。口語教學(xué)不僅要做到語言的“輸入”,更要強調(diào)語言的“輸出”,要充分調(diào)動起學(xué)生對本單元話題的興趣,使學(xué)生“有話可說、有話會說”。教材由四幅圖畫和三個討論題組成。首先通過圖片展示了四位古今中外的“amazing people”,熟悉的人物能夠激發(fā)學(xué)生的興趣,讓他們“有話可說”。三個討論話題則引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進一步思考這些杰出人士所做的貢獻以及他們對社會的影響,并讓學(xué)生通過小組活動來展示自己心目中的英雄、描述他們的事跡

2、。進而讓學(xué)生總結(jié)出這些人物的共同點,引出“amazing people”的定義。最后引導(dǎo)學(xué)生樹立“做一個對社會有貢獻的人”的理想,達到德育滲透的目的。整堂課密切圍繞話題,將一些有深度的話題穿插在圖片討論中,通過各種活動調(diào)動每個學(xué)生積極參與,使他們“有話會說”,并為下一步的閱讀課做好充分的熱身準備。teaching aims:after a discussion about the four pictures, the students will be able to talk about some amazing people and their achievements. then they

3、 will be encouraged to express their opinions about who they consider heroes/ heroines. at last, the students will get a better understanding of amazing people and come to know that they will succeed as long as they work hard. during the whole procedures, the students are expected to practise their

4、spoken english and share opinions with others by actively participating in the designed activities.teaching procedures:step 1 lead ina guessing game: give the students a description of some people and let them guess who they are. 11、 she worked in india to help the poor. for more than 30 years she took care of people in need. she was awarded by the nobel peace prize in 1979. in 2003, she was given the name of blessed teresa. she was loved by people in india. its said that after she died, about 400 important people paid final re

(he opened up relations between china and the outside world)explanation在課前教師讓學(xué)生做好充分的準備工作,主要是借助“internet”查閱關(guān)于四個“amazing people”的一些基本資料,這樣學(xué)生在課堂上就有話可說。在介紹四個人物的時候也利用多種形式在激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣的同時也擴充了他們的課外知識,提高了他們的綜合能力。如在介紹“mother teresa”的時候,添加了她在獲得諾貝爾和平獎的頒獎儀式上的一段演說,讓學(xué)生做缺詞填空的聽力練習(xí)。在介紹四個人物的

18、時候沒有簡單地按照書上給出的順序排列,而是根據(jù)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)規(guī)律,將學(xué)生特別感興趣的、有話題討論的安排在后面,按“詞-句-段-篇”的順序訓(xùn)練學(xué)生說的能力。介紹完四個人物之后,給出幾個問題供學(xué)生討論,問題設(shè)置有一定的梯度,力求讓不同層次的學(xué)生都有話可說。step 3 sharing information1. discussion (group work)divide the students into groups of four and each group leader should collect the ideas on a piece of paper and report them l
