exhausted, i dont feel i have a challenge. physically, i feel great. the last time in 1993 i had other agendas. i felt that i wanted to play baseball and i felt that at my age, it was a good opportunity and time to do it. and with the death of my father, and i was basically trying to deal with that.actually i talked to jerry last year once the season ended and i told jerry at that time, mentally, i was a little exhausted. i didnt know if i would play next year. i wanted to put him on awareness so that he could possibly prepare going into next season. and jerry, once we had our conversation, wanted me to take time as i did in 93 to make sure that it was the right decision because it was going to be the final decision.i retired the first time when phil jackson was the coach. and i think that even with phil being the coach i would have had a tough time, mentally finding the challenge for myself. although he can somehow present challenges for me. i dont know if he could have presented the challenge for me to continue on to this season. even though middle way of this season i wanted to continue to play a couple more years, but at the end of this season i was mentally drained and tired. so i cant say that he would have restored that.i will support the chicago bulls. i think the game itself is a lot bigger than michael jordan. ive been given an opportunity by people before me, to name a few, kareem abdul jabbar, doctor j, eljohn baylor, jerry west. these guys played the game way before michael jordan was born and michael jordan came on the heels of all that activity. mr stern and what hes done for the league, gave me an opportunity to play the game of basketball. i played it to the best i could play it, i tried to enhance the game itself. ive tried to be be.第四篇：當(dāng)兵的看法新兵階段主要是給你養(yǎng)成一個(gè)士兵的習(xí)慣，平時(shí)主要就是疊被子（豆腐塊）整內(nèi)務(wù)，學(xué)習(xí)條令，政治教育，軍事訓(xùn)練呢就是：隊(duì)列訓(xùn)練，基本的單兵戰(zhàn)術(shù)動(dòng)作，基礎(chǔ)射擊，投擲手榴彈，基礎(chǔ)體能訓(xùn)練等科目，考核主要是軍事課目，要考步槍射擊（現(xiàn)在好像改成概率射擊了，10發(fā)中3發(fā)就行），手榴彈實(shí)彈投擲（這個(gè)是風(fēng)險(xiǎn)最高的），隊(duì)列動(dòng)作，（軍訓(xùn)應(yīng)該參加過(guò)吧，比那個(gè)要嚴(yán)格些）單兵戰(zhàn)術(shù)動(dòng)作，（主要就是匍匐前進(jìn)、臥倒、拘槍射擊之類的簡(jiǎn)單動(dòng)作）體能呢主要包括：3公里跑（一般13分半及格），100米（一般14秒幾及格，不記得了），立定跳遠(yuǎn)，雙腿深蹲（好像是三分鐘80個(gè)），仰臥起坐（3分鐘60個(gè)）、俯臥撐（1分鐘30個(gè)左右，具體不記得了）等，這個(gè)體能標(biāo)準(zhǔn)各地區(qū)，各部隊(duì)不一樣有的部隊(duì)要求標(biāo)準(zhǔn)更高一些，有的要求更低些，但肯定對(duì)新兵標(biāo)準(zhǔn)都不用很高，我看普通人稍微訓(xùn)練下都能過(guò)，只要你不是大胖子。
