Ill help clean up the city parks. 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)一、教材和學(xué)情分析Ill help clean up the city parks.第一課時(shí)運(yùn)用動(dòng)詞詞組圍繞“volunteer”展開話題,前半部分圍繞“ways of offering people”,后半部分圍繞“ways of telling people about the Clean-Up Day ”。在熟悉和操練各個(gè)動(dòng)詞詞組的基礎(chǔ)上通過各種各樣活動(dòng)的開展培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的綜合語言應(yīng)用能力。對于九年級的學(xué)生可能已經(jīng)不像七年級、八年級學(xué)生那樣熱衷于普通的課堂活動(dòng),所以設(shè)計(jì)怎樣的課堂活動(dòng),采取怎樣的評價(jià)方式來提高課堂氣氛,從而使學(xué)生自然地融入整個(gè)教學(xué)環(huán)節(jié)顯得尤為重要。二、設(shè)計(jì)重點(diǎn)和難點(diǎn) 根據(jù)教材的內(nèi)容和學(xué)生的實(shí)際情況, city parks剛好跟我們益陽這個(gè)城市可以聯(lián)系起來。所以就圍繞“我愛益陽開展一系列教學(xué)活動(dòng)。培養(yǎng)學(xué)生聽、說、讀、寫能力,為他們的終身學(xué)習(xí)和發(fā)展打下良好的基礎(chǔ)。 本課時(shí)主要運(yùn)用動(dòng)詞詞組圍繞”volunteer”展開話題,怎樣在規(guī)定的時(shí)間內(nèi)通過什么樣的活動(dòng)來激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情,讓學(xué)生自然地學(xué)會(huì)運(yùn)用如此多的動(dòng)詞詞組,并成為課堂教學(xué)的主角是這一課時(shí)的難點(diǎn).三、教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)Step1 Warming up1. GreetingsT: There goes the bell. Lets begin our class.Good afternoon, boys and girls Today, there are so many teachers here. Are you stressed out?Ss: Yes/No把學(xué)生可能正面臨的問題提出來, 主要是考慮到那天聽課老師之多是學(xué)生從來沒有遇到過的,擔(dān)心學(xué)生會(huì)緊張,想通過一系列鼓勵(lì)來使學(xué)生放松,慢慢進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)狀態(tài).其實(shí)在上課之前的幾分鐘,我已發(fā)覺許多學(xué)生還是比較緊張,所以課前我一直精神飽滿,滿懷信心地鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生, “ Are you stressed out? Take it easy. You are the best. You can do it”這樣可以緩解部分學(xué)生過于緊張的狀態(tài),使其慢慢放松.2. EncouragementT: Some of you may feel a little bit stressed out. Just take it easy and I will help youThe whole class, would you please stand up and just follow me “ I can do it”本想通過這個(gè)小小的鼓勵(lì)活動(dòng),使學(xué)生克服膽怯,增加信心,活躍氣氛.但是沒想到在Greetings時(shí),學(xué)生既然異口同聲說”NO” 這個(gè)是我沒有想到的, 或許是課前的鼓勵(lì)措施相當(dāng)奏效吧.當(dāng)然這個(gè)Encouragement也就沒有必要了. 我靈機(jī)一動(dòng)就來了一句, “No? great! You are better than me. Now Im a little bit stressed out. So lets talk about sth relaxing-National Day.這樣就自然地過渡到Lead-in環(huán)節(jié)了??偨Y(jié):Step2 Lead- inFree talk1.T: As we know, National Day is comingWhere would you like to go on vacation?Wenzhou? Hangzhou? Shanghai? Ningbo?.Ss:我以國慶休息為題,詢問學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備去哪里度假,慢慢引申到益陽這個(gè)城市。 2.T: All right. How many Ss will stay in Ningbo? Hands upDo you love Ningbo? Do you want to know more about Yiyang?Ok! Lets appreciate an episode of Yiyang and see what kind of city it is這里準(zhǔn)備視頻。3.T: From this episode, we know that Yiyang is a beautiful and lively city.do you want to make Yiyang much more beautiful?Do you want to help people who are in need of help in Yiyang?Ok! Lets be volunteers and see what we could do in Yiyang視頻過后,通過幾個(gè)疑問句比較自然地從“我愛益陽”過渡到想成為益陽的志愿者“volunteer” 這一主題,接下來就可以很順利地過渡到presentation.總結(jié):Step3 Presentation and Review1.Presentation1.T:Let look at the first picture. If the city parks in Ningbo are not clean. What could we do?Ss: We could help clean up the city parks.通過語言描繪,圖片引導(dǎo)的方法,使學(xué)生在情景中學(xué)習(xí)新詞匯和動(dòng)詞詞組: clean up, set up, establish, cheer up, homeless, help with,volunteer2.Review2.T: Well done! Lets see who has the best memory這一環(huán)節(jié)主要是讓學(xué)生鞏固presentation的一些動(dòng)詞詞組,首先采取集體回答的形式(給學(xué)生做一個(gè)心理上的準(zhǔn)備),然后開始一對一的比賽,看哪個(gè)組成員的memory更好,成功回答出的成員為其組添加一顆紅心其次也是為下面的聽力做一點(diǎn)鋪墊??偨Y(jié):Step4 Listening and Pairwork1.ListeningT: Listen! There is a boy and a girl talking about several ways of helping people. Lets walk there and see what they are talking about.Presentation是關(guān)于ways of offering help。Listening也是關(guān)于ways of offering help。這樣的話,只需一個(gè)簡單的過度就可以達(dá)成目標(biāo),而且不會(huì)使學(xué)生感到突然。2. PairworkT: Now weve learnt the ways of offering help. I think its time for us to practiceA: Its volunteer today. What would you like to do?B: Id like to work outside, but I dont know what to do?A: you could clean up the city parks.B: Good idea. Would you like to go with me?A: Sure, Id love to.這是教學(xué)的第4個(gè)步驟,主要是對前面學(xué)過的一些語法點(diǎn)的一個(gè)總結(jié),學(xué)生通過詞匯的習(xí)得,復(fù)習(xí),聽力,對于這個(gè)活動(dòng)應(yīng)該是比較簡單了。本來設(shè)計(jì)的是”Survey and Report” 但是考慮到時(shí)間的關(guān)系,改成了pairwork. 因?yàn)楹竺娴膬?nèi)容還有很多,比現(xiàn)在的更難,所花的時(shí)間會(huì)更多??偨Y(jié):Step5 Presentation and GroupworkT: Did a great job! Weve helped people who are in need of help. Are you happy?Ss; Yes.T: Being volunteers is great. To help others is to help ourselves. Now, we are planning a City Parks Clean-up Day. We have to talk about ways to tell people about the Clean-Up Day. Lets see what we could do for example: call up others, put up sighsT:Now,We are ready to tell people about the City Parks Clean-up Day. Lets discuss with your groups關(guān)于SectionA第2部分的導(dǎo)入,我想了很長時(shí)間,首先發(fā)現(xiàn)這個(gè)導(dǎo)入有點(diǎn)難,不知道怎么樣入手,因?yàn)楦鷖ectionA第1部分的聯(lián)系好像不是很大。其次如果正常導(dǎo)入后不見得學(xué)生能夠理解,如果學(xué)生不能理解會(huì)直接影響下面的聽力部分(因?yàn)槁犃λ俣群芸?,難度較大)所以我決定把這個(gè)導(dǎo)入簡單化并自己先舉幾個(gè)例子,其次再通過Groupwork使學(xué)生鞏固“ways of telling people about the City Parks Clean-up Day”。從而最大程度地為聽力掃清障礙??偨Y(jié):Step6 ListeningT:Weve arranged about the City Parks Clean-up Day. There is another group talking about it, lets see what they are talking about這部分涉及到2a和2b聽力,前面的presentation和groupwork基本已經(jīng)為2a掃清了障礙,只是有少部分同學(xué)需要聽第2遍, 2遍過后基本都沒問題(雖然聽力的語速很快),但是2b因?yàn)檎Z速很快在第一編聽完后還有很多同學(xué)寫不下來,這時(shí)我及時(shí)把選項(xiàng)打了出來,這樣就彌補(bǔ)了由于聽力過快而造成學(xué)生反應(yīng)不過來。2遍過后,大部分學(xué)生都完成了2b.Step7 Talk ShowT: Thanks for your help. With your help, Ningbo has become more and more beautiful and lively, and it has attracted lots of famous stars, like kobe, Andy lau and so on. Lets see who they are.(Show starspictures).Theyve been in Ningbo, and are coming to todays talk show. Lets see what it is教學(xué)的第7步是運(yùn)用所學(xué)的知識,模仿各位明星和主持人做一個(gè)”talk show”,活動(dòng)有四個(gè)人組成,一個(gè)模仿主持人,另外3個(gè)模仿自己喜歡的明星,主持人至少問每個(gè)明星3個(gè)問題(問題和答案都是之前學(xué)習(xí)過的知識點(diǎn)),共計(jì)至少6個(gè)問題。在討論過程中,首先主持人問,明星答,然后再寫下來,最后到講臺(tái)這邊表演出來,這個(gè)活動(dòng)在實(shí)際操作中并不困難。設(shè)計(jì)這個(gè)活動(dòng)的目的在于以學(xué)生感興趣的活動(dòng)為載體,全面復(fù)習(xí)前面出現(xiàn)過的知識點(diǎn),在調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)積極性的同時(shí)巧妙地鍛煉學(xué)生的聽,說,讀,寫能力。Step8 Summary這個(gè)步驟是對本節(jié)課所學(xué)內(nèi)容的回顧,重要的動(dòng)詞詞組以及它們的運(yùn)用,關(guān)于這個(gè)部分我們不應(yīng)該直接讀讀了事,有時(shí)間最好師生一起回顧,這樣有利于學(xué)生對習(xí)得知識的鞏固,可以大大減少學(xué)生課外復(fù)習(xí)的時(shí)間。Step9 HomeworkChoose a volunteer job y
