Unit 10 Im going to be a basketball player.第一課時 教學設計 -陰琳一、教 材 分 析本課是新目標英語八年級上冊Unit10 Im going to be a basketball player為中心話題,本單元的編寫思路是:通過復習和學習一些關于職業(yè)的詞匯,用be going to談論長大以后打算做什么以及打算怎樣實現目標,與七年級(下)Unit 4 I want to be an actor. 關于職業(yè)的詞匯以及用want to bedo談論將來,以及八年級(上)Unit 3 What are you doing for vacation? 用be doing談論將來的打算有著密切的聯系。本課是這單元的第一課和重點課,學好本課將為進一步學習一般將來時打下良好的基礎 。二、教學目標分析1.知識目標:掌握本課重點詞匯computer programmer, computer science, engineer, pilot, professional .本課主要句型:What are you going to be when you grow up? Im going to be an engineer. How are you going to do that? Im going to study math hard. 語法:用be going to表示一般將來時。2.能力目標:培養(yǎng)學生應用英語談論將來計劃,提高學生聽、說、讀、寫等能力。3.情感目標:通過談論將來打算做什么以及準備怎樣實現目標,讓學生考慮自己的將來,及早為將來做好準備,明白“遠大理想需要不懈的努力才能實現”的道理。培養(yǎng)學生學習英語的強烈興趣,體會學習英語和使用英語的樂趣。培養(yǎng)學生協(xié)調能力和團隊精神。4學習策略目標:讓學生完成采訪任務,實現語言的交際和交流;讓學生能主動參與課堂,提高課堂效率。三 教學重點和難點:重點:目標詞匯/重點句型 1. What are you going to be when you grow up? 2. How are you going to do that?難點: 1.一般將來時be going to + 2.學生根據自己喜歡的職業(yè),運用所學知識談論自己打算怎樣做來實現目標則既是難點,又是能力訓練點。四、說教法: 1“Teach English in English”: 即新課標倡導的“用英語教英語” 2任務型教學法:倡導體驗參與,培養(yǎng)自主學習能力。通過聽力訓 練、做調查、小組競賽等多種形式反復操練重點句型,鞏固所學、 提高靈活運用能力,通過操練中人稱的變化和幻燈片展示幫 助學生更好地領會語法。3.游戲教學法:新課標倡導的“玩中學,學中玩”的理念很受學生歡 迎。4.競賽教學法:根據初中生爭強好勝的性格特征,在課堂內引進小 組競爭機制,提高團體活動效率,加強團體凝聚力,激發(fā)學生的求 知欲和參與意識。5.借助多媒體輔助教學:形象、生動,使課堂容量相對增加,給學生提供更多的語言實踐機會,有利于綜合語言運用能力的提高。五、課堂設計 Step 1 Warming up and lead-in Show a picture on the screen. Read the instructions and tell students that they are going to listen to some conversations. Ask them to listen carefully and match the phrases. Check the answer. 2a&2b Tell students that Cheng Han is talking about his dream. What is he going to be and how is he going to that? Ask them to listen to the tape and finish 2a&2b Play the tape.Check the answer.Step 4 : Survey & Report Show students a chart.
