PEP4 Unit4 At the farm 教學反思洪合鎮(zhèn)中心小學 劉桂榮 一、 教學內(nèi)容:第2課時A Lets learn及Lets chant 課型:詞匯 二、教學目標1知識目標(1)能夠聽、說、認讀單詞tomato,potato,carrot,green beans。(3) 能理解句子Look at the green beans. Theyre so long. Yes, and the potatoes are big.(3)會說唱歌謠。2能力目標 培養(yǎng)學生的口頭表達能力和表演能力。3情感目標 教育學生要有合理的飲食習慣。三、教學重難點教學重點:掌握三會單詞tomato,potato,carrot,green beans。教學難點:掌握單詞potato和tomato的復數(shù)形式。四、教學過程Step 1Warming up創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,導入新課。T: Today we are going to an interesting place.a) It has many trees and grass. b) It has many animals.c) It has many vegetables.d) There are potatoes, tomatoes, carrots and green beans.Can you guess? Where are we going? Ss: Farm.T: Yes, we are going to the farm.設(shè)計意圖:根據(jù)心理學家提出的“U型”效應(yīng)告訴我們,要把最重要的事情安排在開頭和結(jié)尾的部分,由于小學生自身活潑好動的特點,本課的導入自然有趣,創(chuàng)設(shè)一個真實農(nóng)場的情景,把四種學習的蔬菜整體呈現(xiàn)給學生,這時學生的記憶尤為深刻。Step 2Presentation1. Teach “carrot(s)-yummy”1) T: Lets play a guessing game: its a kind of vegetables. Its orange. The rabbits like it very much. Whats it?Ss can answer it both in Chinese and English. Then T will show the word card and the picture and drill it. T will lead activity and pick some S group to read.T: Then lets count the carrots in the picture. (e.g., One carrot, two carrots many carrots.)教師出示word card “carrots” 并張貼,教師帶讀,抽查2小組讀。2) I like carrots. They are yummy.(出示單詞卡,背面注上中文,抽讀個別學生,教師帶讀新單詞。)趣味拍手操練chant: I like carrots. I like carrots. Yummy, yummy, yummy.(師生示范chant,學生之間pair work。)設(shè)計意圖:以一個謎語導入本課的新授知識,富有一定的創(chuàng)意,容易激發(fā)學生的好奇心,調(diào)動學生的積極性,并在自編的chant中不知不覺地學習如何描述carrot。2.Teach “Green beans-tender-long”1) T: Show a picture of “green beans” and ask “what are these? Are they carrots?Ss: No, they arent. They are green beans.(教師啟發(fā))Ss show the word card and drill it.2) T: Look at the green beans. Theyre tender. (比較幾根發(fā)蔫的四季豆和新鮮的四季豆。)Then, show the word “tender” and ask Ss to read it.趣味拍手操練: I like green beans, I like green beans, tender, tender, tender. (Use the different intonations.)3) Look at the green beans. Theyre long. (Show two green beans and compare them.)Show the word card “l(fā)ong” and let Ss read it.3. Teach “tomato(es)-juicy”1) Show a bag. T: Look! I have a bag. There is something in it. Who wants to come to the front and taste? Be brave!2) Close your eyes. Open your mouth. Whats it?當學生得出答案時,教師出示實物及單詞,逐步引出one tomato,two tomatoes,從而引出tomato的復數(shù)形式。3) Play the finger exercises. 請學生看老師的手指數(shù)量來判斷應(yīng)該使用tomato還是tomatoes。4) Show tomatoes.T: Look at the tomatoes. What color are they?Ss: They are red. T: Yes. Theyre red and juicy.教師用手掰開西紅柿并展示詞卡。Then ask the boys and girls to repeat it.趣味拍手操練:I like tomatoes, I like tomatoes, juicy, juicy, juicy.設(shè)計意圖:在這個教學環(huán)節(jié)教師應(yīng)用了一個不同的導入方法,讓學生通過品嘗從而引出tomato。應(yīng)用finger游戲讓學生掌握tomato的單復數(shù)關(guān)系,避免了講語法的枯燥,符合小學生的心理特征。4. Teach “potato(es)-tasty”1) Show a bag.T: Look at the bag. Can you touch and guess “Which one is the potato?”Ss touch it and try to find out the potato.通過這個“摸一摸”游戲,引出新單詞potato,然后出示單詞卡,讓學生認讀。接著引導學生數(shù)一數(shù)共有多少個potato。2) Play a short game “High and low”.鞏固操練potato的讀音。3) Show the true potatoes.T: Look at the tomatoes. Theyre red. Look at the potatoes. Theyre brown.編一個chant鞏固知識:帶領(lǐng)學生分小組一起吟唱。Tomatoes, tomatoes, “t” is for tomatoes.Potatoes, potatoes, “p” is for potatoes.4) T: When the potatoes become fries, theyre tasty.趣味拍手操練:I like potatoes, I like potatoes, tasty, tasty, tasty.5) T shows two potatoes and compare them.T: Look! This potato is big.T shows the word card “big” and let Ss read it.設(shè)計意圖:根據(jù)心理學的“連鎖塑造效應(yīng)”,我們先把教學目標分解成若干個小目標,學生每完成一個小目標我們都及時對其進行鼓勵表揚,最終完成新課的學習。在這個環(huán)節(jié)里,教師讓學生通過摸一摸、猜一猜的方式引出potato。并把potato 和tomato進行了比較教學,以一個chant 加深學生對這兩個音、形近單詞的印象,最后一個環(huán)節(jié)教師又把單詞教學落實到句型中,使單詞教學更具意義。Step 3Drill1. Games Teacher says the words and asks two students to point out the picture. Lets see who is quicker.(看圖說單詞)Guessing game: one student holds the picture, the other student guess. Use the structure:S1: what are these? S2: are they.?S1: Yes, they are. / No, they arent. Bingo Write the four words on the paper:1) For the first time: listen and tick. When you finished, put up your hands and say “bingo” lets check and see who can get the first bingo.2) For the second time: listen and circle. When you finished, put up your hands and say “bingo”. Lets check and see who can get the second bingo.3) For the third time: listen and cross. When you finished, put up your hands and say “bingo”. Lets check and see who can get the third bingo.設(shè)計意圖:復習鞏固所學單詞,為下面的句型教學作鋪墊。2. Lets learnNow, Sarah and Mike are at the farm, too. Lets listen to the tape.教師播放Lets learn的內(nèi)容。 1) 第一遍,學生聽錄音回答問題:Are the green beans long? Are the potatoes big?2) 第二遍,訂正答案并跟讀。3) Pair work: one student is Sarah, the other is Mike.4)Show time.設(shè)計意圖:根據(jù)是德國心理學家艾賓浩斯研究發(fā)現(xiàn)的人類記憶遺忘曲線原理,下課前回歸文本,通過聽讀、演一演的活動,及時復習鞏固本課學習的新知識。Step 4Consolidation這節(jié)課我們學習了tomato,potato,carrot,green beans四種蔬菜的名稱,它們是農(nóng)民伯伯通過辛勤的勞作才得以收成的。我們知道蔬菜含有豐富的維生素C,應(yīng)該多吃蔬菜,因為它們有益于我們的健康。Lets chant:跟隨音樂一起進行歌謠說唱。設(shè)計意圖:課堂的最后,謹防心理學上的超限效應(yīng),通過學生喜歡的chant形式
