Unit 6 Im going to study computer scienceSection A1 (1a-1c) (又蘭中心校:譚桂)一、教學目標 1. 語言知識目標:1) 能掌握以下單詞:grow up, computer programmer, cook, doctor, engineer, violinist, driver, pilot, pianist, scientist 能掌握以下句型: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player. How are you going to do that? Im going to practice basketball every day. Where are you going to work? Im going to work in shanghai. 2) 能了解以下語法: 掌握一般將來時態(tài)的構(gòu)成形式; 3) 用一般將來時態(tài)表達將要做的事情。 2. 情感態(tài)度價值觀目標: 每個人都有自己的夢想和對未來的打算,對于將來想要從事的職業(yè)也充滿了憧憬。 人們以常談論他們的設(shè)想,因此,應通過學習這單元的內(nèi)容來激發(fā)學生們的學習主動性和學習興趣,使他們更加有理想,并為實現(xiàn)自己的理想而不斷努力。二、教學重難點1. 教學重點:1)掌握表示職業(yè)的名詞。 2) 學習重點句型,What are you going to be when you grow up? Im going to be a/an. How are you going to do that? Im going to.2. 教學難點:用一般將來時態(tài)表達自己未來的打算。三、教學過程. Lead-in 1. 介紹自己小時候想要從事的職業(yè),由此歸納出以前所學過的一些職業(yè)的英語表達方式:teacher, nurse, doctor, basketball player, runner, actor, actress 2. 詢問學生們想要從事的職業(yè),從而引出句型: What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be a basketball player. 3. 學生們看幻燈片,引導學生們進行問答自己將來所喜歡的理想職業(yè)。 . Presentation1. 播放幻燈片,展示一些職業(yè)的圖片,來引導學生們學習一些新的職業(yè)名詞: computer programmer, cook, engineer, violinist, pianist, pilot, scientist, 2. 讓學生們看大屏幕來學習記憶這些生詞。3. Memory challenge(game)3. Tell S s to rank them 1-12. 1 is most interesting, 12 is least interesting . Pair work :Show pictures and make conversations A:What do you want to be when you grow up? B:I want to be a basketball player. A:How are you going to do that? B:Im going to practice basketball every day. . Listening 1. T: Tell S s to read the words of jobs in the chart. Make sure they know the meaning of the words and sentences. 2. Play the recording for the S s to listen and fill in the blanks. 3. Play the recording again. Check the answers with the S s. 4. Play the recording again. S s listen and match the jobs with activities. 5. Show the answers on the big screen. .Survey:Students ask each other: What do you want to be when you grow up? How are you going to do that?
