Unit 9 What does he look like?Period One一、教學(xué)目標(biāo):1.知識目標(biāo):(1)單詞: hair, curly,straight, height, tall, medium height, thin,heavy (2)句型: - What does he/she look like? -He/She is tall and has long hair.2. 能力目標(biāo):(1)學(xué)完本課,學(xué)會描述人物外貌。 (2)能積極思維,運(yùn)用所學(xué)單詞,短語及句型,結(jié)合實(shí)際生活進(jìn)行靈活運(yùn)用。3.情感態(tài)度目標(biāo):(1)教育學(xué)生要多發(fā)現(xiàn)別人的優(yōu)點(diǎn),學(xué)會贊美別人,友好地描述別人的形象。(2)通過描述自己、同學(xué)、親人的外貌,簡單地表達(dá)自己的觀點(diǎn)或好惡,學(xué)會交換不同的看法,使學(xué)生在人際交往中學(xué)會尊重和理解別人。二、教學(xué)重點(diǎn): 掌握本課新單詞、句型和怎樣描述一個人的外貌。三、教學(xué)難點(diǎn):掌握正確運(yùn)用have動詞和be動詞的描述人物外貌的方法。四、教學(xué)方法:情景交際法和任務(wù)型語言教學(xué)法。五、教學(xué)設(shè)計:Step 1. Lead-in:BrainstormingShow a picture of a woman and say: What does she look like? Then let students have a brainstorming:Peoples appearance (description words). Step 2. Presentation: 1. The teacher uses the picture to lead and teach the new words and the new sentence pattern.2.Go over the spelling and the pronunciation of the new words with the Students. Step 3. Activity1a1b:1. Let the Students look at the picture and match the people in the picture with the words. And check the answers together by using: C has short hair. D is tall.2. Let the Students listen Activity 1b carefully, fill in the blanks in the picture and find Amys friend. We can listen twiceThe first time, just listenThe second time,listen and fill in the blanksAnd say something about Amys friends look( Hes really tallAnd he has curly hair.) Step 4. Pair work:1.At first the teacher gives the Students an example. A: What does your friend look like?B: He has short hair. He is thin. He is tall.2.Then ask Students practice like this.Step 5. Activity2a,2b:1.Let the Students listen Activity 2a carefully, circle“is”or“has”.2.Listen the conversations again and fill in the blanks. Then say something about the students look(eg. David is tall and heavyAnd he has curly hair.)3.Let the Students find the difference between “is”or“has” and pay attention to how to use “is”or“has”.4.Tell the Students: Lily has a new friend in Class Five. Do you want to know her? Lets help Lily describe her new friend.5.Check the answers.Step 6. Play a guessing game:At first the teacher gives the Students an example. Then ask Students to guess their classmates names with the descriptions as quickly as possible.Step 7. Motto:Tell the Students: Dont judge people by their appearances! Step. 8. Homework:1. Remember all of the new words. 2. Do the exercise in the exercise Book.3.Write a short passage about what your favorite teachers look like. 六、教學(xué)反思在課堂上我鼓勵學(xué)生大膽的使用英語,對他們學(xué)習(xí)過程中的失誤和錯誤采取寬容的態(tài)度。以學(xué)生為主體,教師旨在導(dǎo)學(xué),不斷創(chuàng)設(shè)情境讓學(xué)生參與,積極肯定地評價學(xué)生的表現(xiàn)。任務(wù)設(shè)計較成功,創(chuàng)造條件讓學(xué)生能夠研究他們自己感興趣的話題。同時注意給學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)自主學(xué)習(xí)和交流的機(jī)會。但我發(fā)現(xiàn)自己還有很多不足:首先培養(yǎng)學(xué)生大膽發(fā)言習(xí)慣不夠。在平常的教學(xué)中,學(xué)生的膽量是比較大的,可是這學(xué)期與上學(xué)期他們舉手發(fā)言的激情卻沒有那么活躍了。因此我想在今后的教學(xué)中我應(yīng)該注意培養(yǎng)學(xué)生大膽開放的性格,讓學(xué)生在任何場合都能勇于發(fā)言,積極思考。其次,課堂調(diào)控能力仍需加強(qiáng)??赡苡捎谧约航虒W(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)不足,導(dǎo)致調(diào)控能力不夠好,所以沒有把學(xué)生的激情完全調(diào)動起來,導(dǎo)致課堂上沒
