1單詞set,fight,end,death,spare,honest 2短語(yǔ)fightfor/against/with,intheend,setfree,nomorethan,inall,setup,ofonesown,breakout,breakawayfrom,joinup,consideras,besttodeath,callfor 3日常交際用語(yǔ) 1)Whatsonatthecinemathisweek? 2)Whatsitabout? 3)Thatsoundsinteresting. Theyfoughtbravelyforliberation. EnglandfoughtwithFranceagainstGermanfascistsduringtheSecondWorldWar. TheyfoughtwithItaliansinthelastwarbutagainsttheminthis. readaboutsth. 辨析nomorethan/notmorethan 在數(shù)量上進(jìn)行比較時(shí),nomorethan=only,意為“僅僅,只有”;notmorethan=atmost,意為“至少,不超過(guò)”。 Thisbookisnomoreinterestingthanthatone. Thisstoryisnotmoreinterestingthanthatone. nomorethanof可以擴(kuò)展為no+比較級(jí)than。例如: nobetterthan(=asbadas)比好不了多少 nomorethan(=asfew/littleas)你一樣窮 noricherthan(=aspooras)像一樣窮 nolargerthan(=assmallas)像一樣小 Heisnohappierthanhisbrother. 辨析so.that與such.that 這兩結(jié)構(gòu)都表示“如此以致于”,但用法各有不同。 so+形容詞/副詞+that(結(jié)果狀語(yǔ)從句),它可用tooto或enoughto來(lái)表達(dá),如: Shewassoangrythatshecouldntsayaword. (=Shewastooangrytosayaword.) so+形容詞+a/an+名詞+that從句,如: Heissocleveraboythateveryonelikeshim. Heissuchacleverboythateveryonelikeshim. Itwassuchterribleweatherthatwehadtostayathomeallday. Itwaswrongforhimtobreakawayfromallhisgoodfriends. Thestudentswereencouragedtobreakawayfromthebadhabits. CouldyoutellmewhenWorldWarIIbrokeout? Shortlyafterthefirebrokeout,thefiremenarrivedandcontrolledthefire. Idontknowwhyaquarrelbrokeoutbetweenthetwoneighboursbecausetheyusedtobeclosefriends. 與“regardsb./sth.as”相同。 Jennyisconsidered(tobe)warm-hearted. TheGreatWallisconsideredasoneofthemostinterestingplacesintheworld. Hewasangryatlosingthechancetogoabroad. 關(guān)系副詞when,where引導(dǎo)的定語(yǔ)從句 關(guān)系副詞用法例句(關(guān)系副詞=介詞=關(guān)系代詞) where地點(diǎn)/場(chǎng)所Thisistheplacewhere/inwhichIwasborn. why理由/原因Thisisthereasonwhy/forwhichtheycannotetoday. when時(shí)間Iknowthetimewhen/atwhichhewillleave. 不可用how方式ThisisthewayinwhichIstudy/whichIstudyin.ThisisthewaythatIstudy. 如: Istillrememberthedaywhen(=onwhich)IfirstcametoBeijing. Shecameatatimewhenweneededhermost. 如: Thisisthehousewhere(inwhich)myfatherusedtolive. DoyouknowthestreetwhereLiFanglives? 下列句子就不能用when或where: Thebuilding(which/that)theybuilt10yearsagowasdestroyedinthestormlastnight. Thevillage(that/which)wevisitedisverybeautiful. Wellneverforgettheday(that/which)wespenttogetherinWuhan. 1.Illneverforgettheday_wespenttogetherlastweek. 2.Illneverforgettheday_wemeteachotherlastweek. 3.Doyoustillrememberthehall_wevisitedthepaintingexhibition? 4.AfterlivinginNewYorkfor10years,hereturnedtothesmalltown_hegrewupasachild. 5.Itisthethirdtime_youhavemadethesamemistake.
