Allthepeopleonourblockgiveustrouble.

Mrs.Browncallsthepolicewheneverwegotoplayballonthestreet.Mrs.Johnsoncomplainsthatskateboardingmakestoomuchnoise.IfwehappentostrayintoMr.Hardy'syard,heyellsatus.

WehadahardtimegettingPeteroutoftheholehehadfalleninto.

First,wemadearopebylinkingourbeltstogether.

Then

weloweredittoPeter,tellinghimtograsptheend.

After

hehadholdoftherope,webegantopullhimslowlyoutofthehole.

As

hecameup,noonedaredtospeakaword.

Finally,wecouldgrasphimarms,andwithasighofrelief,wepulledhimoutontothegrassybank. 描述中,分別用了first,then,after,as,finally這些描述順序的關(guān)聯(lián)過(guò)渡詞語(yǔ),使得文章脈絡(luò)清晰。3)

例如:Iseemtobesufferingfromalltheillnessesimaginable:insomnia(失眠),headache,backache,indigestion(消化不良),constipation(便秘)andpainsinthestomach.

Tomakethingsstillworse

I'vecaughtacold,I'vegotasorethroat,andI'mconstantlysneezingandcoughing.

Tocrownitall

(最糟糕的是),Ihadanaccidenttheotherday,hurtmyrightshoulder,legandknee,andnearlybrokemyneck.IfItakealongwalk,Igetshortofbreath.Infact,Ifeelmoredeadthanalive. tomakethingsworse

CloningtakestheDNAfromasinglecelltocreateawholenewindividual.Acloneisanorganismwhichisgeneticallyidenticaltoanotherone.

But

又例如:It'stemptingtoseethelifeofajournalistasglamorousandexciting,

but

aswithanyotheroccupation,thereisalotofhardworkandroutineactivity.Italsodependsonwhatkindofpublicationyouworkfor.

However,eachdayisdifferentandyouwillcoverawiderangeofnewsstoriesandfeatures.5)總分關(guān)系總分關(guān)系指前面的句子涉及兩個(gè)或多個(gè)對(duì)象,后面的句子緊接著分別他們加以說(shuō)明。

Therearebestfriends,

schoolfriends,

fair-weatherfriends

foreverfriendsandmanymore.

Bestfriendsarefriendswithwhomyouspendalotoftimeandwithwhomyoushareallyourthoughtsandfeelings.

Schoolfriendsaredifferent:

youseeeachotherinschoolandyoustudyandhavefuntogether,

butyoumaynotknoweverythingabouteachother.

Fair-weatherfriendsarefriendswhoonlylikeyouwhenyouarehappyorwhenyouarepopular.

Ifyouarefeelingdown,

orifyouarehavingaproblem,

fair-weatherfriendsdon'twanttospendtimeortalkwithyou.

Foreverfriendsarefriendsthatwillalwayslistentoyouandtrytohelpyou,

evenifyoudisagreeorifyouarehavingaproblem.

foreverfriends

Doyouknowthattheaveragepersonputsonly25%ofhisenergyandabilityintohiswork?Thatmeansthosewhouse50%oftheirabilityreallystandoutfromtherest.Andtheveryfewwhoactuallygivetheirfull100%ofstrengthandsmartstotheirworkbecomethemostsuccessful.Manypeoplewantthegreenergrass,buttheydon'twanttopaythehigherwaterbilltogetit!

AnadvertisementwhichbeginswiththemagicwordFREEcanrarelygowrong.Thesedays,advertisersnotonlyofferfreesamples,butfreecars,freehouses,andfreetripsaroundtheworldaswell.

Thequietlifeofthecountryhasneverappealedtome.

Thatiswhyflatmapsofthewholeearthalwaysdistortitsappearance. Mercybringsgood.Mercyfallslikethegentlerainfromtheskyupontheearth.Itistwiceblessed:

Itblessesthosewhogiveit,andthosewhoreceiveit.It'sthehighestofthehighest. Withgaspricesrisingandairportsecuritylinessnakinglongerthanever,whynotbookyournextdomesticvacationonatrain?Comparedtootheralternatives,it’scomfortableandrelaxing.Hereissomeadviceonhowtomakeatripbyrailaspleasantaspossible.Planahead.Mostlong-distancetrains,especiallythesleepingcaraccommodations,selloutveryquickly.____36____Butnomatterwhenyoutravel,it’sagoodideatomakeyourreservationsatleast90daysinadvance.【典例2】(全國(guó)乙卷·節(jié)選)·Don'trelyontechnologyalone40,butlong-distancefriendships—evencloseones—mayrequiremoreconsciousefforttosustain.Trytoseekoutchancestorenewfriendships.Howtodoit?Justspendface-to-facetimetogetherwheneverpossible.D.TrytofindatimethatworksforbothofyouandsticktoitE.FriendsneedtotalkabouttheirpreferredmethodsofcommunicationF.ItiseasytohaveasenseofconnectednessthroughsocialmediaG.Youmaybethefriendwholeftortheonewhowasleftbehind【典例3】(2021·新高考Ⅰ卷·節(jié)選)MyhusbandandIjustspentaweekinParis.36Sothefirstthingwedidwasrentafantasticallyexpensivesixth-floorapartmentthesizeofacupboard.Itwassotinythatwehadtoleaveoursuitcasesinthehallway.Theplacewasn'tentirelyauthentic,though.UnlikeanormalParisianapartment,theplumbing(水管)worked.37.Therewasanicekitchenandacomfortablebed.Ourbuildingevenhadatinyliftwithafemalevoicethatsaid,“Ouverturedesportes,”inperfectFrench.ThatistheonlyFrenchphraseImastered,andit'sashameIdon'thavemuchuseforit.A.Notallthecustomersaretourists.B.ThequalityoflifeinFranceisequallyexcellent.D.Theamazingfoodismainlyconsumedbylocalfarmers.E.That'snottheonlyreasontheFrencheatlessthanwedo.F.Ouraimwastoseeifwecouldlive,insomeway,likerealParisians.G.Thefoodissodeliciousthatyoudon'tneedmuchofittomakeyouhappy.
